Yeah, but I hadn't had that sort of enforcement in the past. I've walked in with circulars and all they did was verify that it was current.

I've got a Blockbuster literally 100 yards from my apt. and i just walked back with the ad and asked if they'd match it. (What are they gonna do, call BB at 11:30 pm?) They said,"No problem." and cheerfully PMed me. I should've gone there straightaway, rather than burn a $1.50 extra worth of gas to save a friggin' DOLLAR!

I still don't think you should lame them though. Just count yourself lucky.

Was the game even any good? Anyone have any idea what religious references would get the game pulled?

The game was supposed to be really really bad.

I wonder if this means it'll become popular due to rarity. Air Force Delta Storm wasn't that great, albeit better tha Kajuto, and now it's worth a ton.

Kakuto Chojin = teh suxors.

Not sure about the references...but the OXM demo disc this month includes a demo of KC.
Might have to check this turkey out and see what all the fuss is about.

Someone post a good deal on Battle Engine Aquila... please? I like the demo, so I'm thinking about buying it.

I hate when news stories are so incomplete, you seem to know LESS after you've read them than you knew before. What references? Which religion? It can't be anti-Christian stuff - it's perfectly acceptable to slander and slur them - it must be one of the more "reactionary" faiths. Bleah.

I'm not blaming Circuit City for checking, just venting that I busted my arse racing around to give THEM $39 and they didn't want it. At the end of the day, they didn't SAVE $10, they LOST $40!!! For a chain that's tight for money, turning away a customer who is waving money in your face and damn near BEGGING you to take it isn't very smart IMNSHO. Even if they just matched the $40 price and skipped the extra 10%, I would've accepted that (as shown my my willingness to give BB $40.)

I'm serious - when your policies are so rigid that you turn away gross revenues, you're fooking daft!! You've got merchandise sitting on the shelf, not generating sales. Instead of snatching Beast Buy's money, you've got nothing but POLICY. Whoop-ti-f*cking-doo!! Enjoy your bankruptcy, chumps. :|

Def, how come you didn't pick up MK at Sam's? Even if you weren't a member, it would seem worthwhile to join for all the other cheap games there (I know I did). Unless there are no Sam's where you live (not in profile).

I hear ya about the rigid policies. Some of these managers can't see the forest for the trees.

I have a Costco membership already and can't justify a second warehouse club one, though the deals ARE killer. I need to find a friend with one. We've got them here.

I've got NINE within 45 minutes drive of me. I'm confused about the membership levels and I think I was a member a long time ago and they had different prices for different levels. It was weird. Which level are you?

Everything except for the EBgames.com sale list has been added to the list (will take some time to check all those and add them)
The Controllers and Miscellaneous Hardware categories were moved to Post #2, to save space on the Post #1 (to help avoid another post corruption)

Has anyone seen any deals for Fifa 2003? My bro got it for PS2 and I had a blast playing it. Probably looks even better on xbox.

The CC ad lists Oddworld, THPS3 and Amped at $19.99 and PGR at $14.99. No sign of Max Payne or any other.

It isnt pictured but I assume it is include since the ad lists XBOX Platinum Hits for 19.99

Found a complete list of the titles to be included in the "Platinum Hits" collection at $19.99 apiece:

EDIT: Evidently my source sucks, since it WASN'T a complete list. Check for a more complete post later in this thread

BTW: Don't forget that using a $5 coupon from a GG gift card at Best Buy would then drop these to $14.99 😀
BTW2: PGR is $14.99 at Circuit City this week....which makes it RIPE for a 110% PM to Best Buy 😀 😀

All Platinum Collection titles are now designated in the list with PLATINUM in place of the store name.
With the assumption that this is the new standard price for those titles.

Any lower price on any of those titles will still be listed in a separate entry on the list.
