You might want to eventually get those Xbox staples Project Gotham Racing and DOA3, those are games that I just had to have because they were really cool launch games that are still among the best in their respective genres, you'll likely end up with them sooner or later (they are pretty cheap used or new depending on the kind of deal you find).

You can get PGR at most used shops for fifteen bucks (that's how I got mine)--I think it is clearly the best racer on the system right now--it is very deep, very challenging, and very rewarding. Most of all, it is long--I have a good twenty five hours into it and I haven't even unlocked all the tracks yet, let alone cars...lots of good street tracks--be warned though, it can be hard and can be frustraiting--but overall, it's probably the game I play the most on my XBOX.

The Xbox exhibition disk has a save file that will unlock every track and car, it's good to use when you have people over or you just want to explore the game.

I read somewhere that it's not good to play the X-Box on a large screen TV...true? I can't where it would burn-in, as the screens ans graphics are constantly changing, no? ...would my old Sony 27" Trinton w/ the speaker ears do the trick? :)

Anybody get those $10 controllers CompUSA offerred this week? More importantly, any opinions on them? The good, the bad, the ugly? I only have the original S controller that came with my system, and for $30, I thought this would be a good way to fill out my system when buddies come over.

I went to my local store and unfortunately they were sold out, however they are still available online...debating if they're worth the $5 S/H that they want to mail them to me.

Not necessary, create a driver named "Nosliw", it will unlock all the tracks and cars.
BTW, I got my Project Gotham (w/ strategy guide bundle) new at Target for $14.98 + tax. The non-bundle is still at $30, weird.

One person did earlier:

Maybe he can be persuaded to post some more feedback on them.

BTW: If they are for your buddies...who cares how they play? You can use the "S" and they can use the others...crappy or not. Won't affect your play one way or the other. :D

D@MN! That's a lotta games. Haha..a lotta favorites too! Anyways, I've played Rallisport and liked it, but how does it compare to Colin Mcrae rally 3 and Rally fusion?

Oh yeah, and I hope you dont own all those games...that would be crazy!

And last, I've never seen some of those games...apparantly there are a lotta XBox games.

mrbass, up until a month ago, your 4 yr olds computer was better than mine.
Even your 1 yr olds is better than my laptop. :(

I'm going to go curl up in this corner over here if you don't mind. I've been owned by kids in single digits.

Right now the best is probably RAW but RAW 2 is suppose to come out in Apr/May and it sounds like it will be 1000% times better then the first.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is in stores today. I went to EB Games today to exchange Bloodrayne towards a preorder, but they had received their shipment today. It's not in all stores, because another guy there had tried a different EB earlier and they had not received their shipment. And yes, I know I could have gotten a $10 Gift Card at Circuit City.

I've played all 3. Rally fusion has awesome graphics like Rallisport...but Rallisport handles better and it's funner to play. Colin Mcrae Rally 3 is best one but graphics are decent just not shining like Rallisport and Fusion. If you can only afford one it's a toss up between Colin and Rallisport. Rent both of them to find out.

Oh yeah, all the reviews kinda didn't really like WWF..so I think I'll wait till WWF2 comes out and rent that to see if it's worth buying.

Well remember just cuz my little ones have computers doesn't mean I didn't go in debt in the process getting the parts. My 4yr is always playing RTCW and BF1942 so I had to get him a semi-decent setup. I have two update that too. Since then I've gotten another 80GB, 120GB and 200GB.

I'm gonna get a 4 or 5 friends to get xbox's really soon. Soon as they can pony up the cash or get brave and charge it.

Not a Hot Deal per se...but some VERY exciting news today concerning....SOUL CALIBUR II!!!!!
The Xbox version of Soul Calibur 2, the hotly-anticipated 3D fighting sequel, will be released in North America in August alongside GameCube and PlayStation 2 versions, Namco confirmed today. In addition, Namco also clarified details of the extra modes and hidden characters which will appear in the console versions. One new character will be common to all three versions, and each version will receive another new character of its own.

On Xbox, the exclusive character is Spawn, Todd McFarlane's famous comic character. The other new character, available in all three versions, is Necrid, a reptilian hulk also designed by Todd McFarlane Productions, which should nicely complement the Xbox version's exclusive fighter.
