I have a Wavebird, but I mostly play with my wired controller with an extension because I like to feel the rumble of my nasty dunks in NBA Street. :)

I have absolutely no gripes about the port from PS2. The framerates are excellent and the textures are so smooth. Definitely A+ in my book.

Hehe, I'm actually thinking about picking it up. I take my Cube around a lot, but the games themselves aren't very portable. :p

Does anyone know if there are any good upcoming GB offers? I don't want to jump on just the free game with purchase if someone like BB or CC are going to be offering something a little better. Any know anything? I was thinking of getting the Target deal but no RE0, which is what I wanted. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Eternal Darkness at Gamestop.com is only $19.99. All other retailers including Ebgames and Target are selling for $49.99. I purchased a copy and got it in 2 days. I thought this was a GREAT deal. I got a copy for my brother at X-mas and the game looks incredible. I think it is like Silent Hill if anyone is familar with that on the PS or PS2, great games also. Just an FYI.

Would this work at BB?

Buy
$159.99 Mario Sunshine deal
get NBA Street for Free
get Mario Party 4 for Free?

Or don't you get the bottom 2 with the Sunshine deal?

Target in Fullerton, CA had the game disk holder for $2.50. Every other target around here had it for $3.50 so its a great price. but does anyone recommmend it? I hear those kind of "slide in" cases scratch the disks so its better to keep them in "pop in" cases (like the original).

Also, the GC SVid cable was $4.50 and the PS2 version was $2.75 at the Cerritos, CA store.
And for the controllers, in fullerton, ca then i picked up two indigo/clear controllers for $9.98 ea. I'm going to try to trade one in for a wavebird though. Wavebird is really great (except it lacks rumble)

I received in the mail yesterday, 1 yr of Nintendo Power plus Pokemon Saphire or Pokemon Ruby preorder, a gameboy link cable, the pokemon player guide for 69.95 or you can get the same package with BOTH pokemon games for 99.99.

Seems a little high and I don't consider it that hot a deal, but hey somebody may if they were going to get all of this anyway.
but here it is.

- I personally LOVE my little GC case.. the way this year looks ill have to have 2 though.. All my discs are still pristine cept for the ones i bought used since i guess everyone out there doesnt respect there discs.. highly recommended specially if you take the gc with you. Get a little outdoor pak to hold it all..

- I mentioned the gamestop 19.99 eternal darkness awhile back, it should be on the list

- lastly, gotapex is confirming that you can get the mario sunshine pak AND NBA street AND Mario Party4.. go check it out.

I do not see it on the list but Target is clearancing some official Nintendo Cube controllers. They are Indigo fronts and clear underneath. Price is $9.98 for them. They also had the orange Spice ones for like $17.99 I believe as well. YMMV

This was posted elsewhere in the forum by someone, but I did not see it here so it gets a mention.

Well, Target still has the free memory card with select games going. I think they will until they all sell out.
I have at least 5 Targets in my area, and only two actually knew what I was talking about when I called, but the one I went to had tons of these with the memory cards.
So I picked up Metroid with their last Platinum Cube for $160 after tax and a 251 Memory card, very nice deal I think.

Unless you really can get Sunshine bundle with street and Mario Party 4, and don't mind indigo. But I would think YMMV on that especially.

I also noticed some Indigo gamecubes at one of my Targets that had a target sticker saying it included Super Smash Bro. Melee, target exclusive thing, so I don't know what that's all about, I doubt you could get a free game with that though.

Yes this does work. I got it last sunday when the deal first came out. They didnt have any Sunshine bundles on the shelf so I asked the CSR about it. He went to check backstock and found one in the back. He said he didnt know if the deal was applicable to the bundle so he got another CSR to ring up one of the four free games (I chose metroid prime). I wasn't sure about NBA street so I didn't bother with it until I found out it was also applicable. Went back to BB and showed them the receipt/ad and asked if I could still get the game. He said ok and just rang it up as $0 w/o needing mgr's approval.

Went to Wal-Mart and saw that Mario Sunshine bundle was $149.44. I'm gonna try to get it in the morning with one of the 4 free games. YMMV on the price since it is $159 online
