I've never told anyone I have two legs. Does that mean it's a secret?
Is sexuality a physical trait?

kind of obvious to anyone who's actually seen him outside of the show, though.
Kind of obvious from your title who it had to be. Obvious it is the tall skinny nerd guy. my second guess was any of the females on the show. You pretty much had my last guess as your first.
my thoughts, who cares?
that show fucking sucks as a side note.
He has never said it before this date, ergo it was a secret.
Nobody is surprised cuz well, we all got mad gaydar.
His voice should be a dead give away.
That is not what a secret is. There are a lot of pieces of information people have not stated out loud, that does not make them a secret. That just makes them undisclosed facts.
Was he ever asked about his sexuality before this and refused to answer? Then it would be a secret.
You know how I know you're a lawyer?
Because I'm right, and that pisses you off.
MotionMan
lol i'm not pissed off at all.
when I'm pissed off you'll get the sixone treatment =P

Why does it bother you so much? Just curious.
yeah I'm not surprised.
I was curious, so I asked a question. Apparently, that bothers people. 🙄
Nah, It just came off like you were annoyed that he said he was gay or that people were interested in the fact.
I honestly thought this was already known
Why? How does it benefit anyone to know this?
I think it's good to have positive role models in the gay community such as a successful actor like Parsons. Also, when you have famous gay people like Parsons who don't really fit the picture many ignorant people (effeminate, promiscuous, etc) have of gays, I think it can help some realize that gay people can and often are just like many of their heterosexual partners outside of the bedroom.
Do you think Parsons should not have come out and if so why?
If he's happy about doing it, I don't care. He's under no obligation to hold himself out to be "a positive role model in the gay community", and I hope he didn't feel that way.
I don't think we should be celebrating people who give up their privacy, or have it plastered all over tabloids - especially the ones masquerading as journalists. Now that he's discussed it publicly, people will feel even more entitled than they already do, to speculate about who he's with and why.
