The current move towards slab-sided, big-rig inspired pickup designs all began with the F-150 redesign in 2004 that incorporated all the Kenworth styling cues. The big Rams started in 02, but the industry as a whole started moving that way after Ford did it...mainly because the big 3 will do with trucks what Ford does. The F-150 is a sales monster.
Umm the Ram started the "Big-Rig" styling back in '94.
This. Dodge started it first. Ford Followed. GM kinda did but not to the same extent.
Good job Ford on the quality part. GM, you're doing better, but keep working on it. Chrysler, um.... lol, no comment!
