Everyone is wrong about the big rig styling. 1998, April 20th at 4:20 PM EST is exactly when Dodge started with the big rig styling.

I didn't realize I was going to start such a controversial topic. Maybe I should start a new thread.

Chrysler has some great designs, it's too bad they're not as well built mechanically. They created the minivan market. The Ram re-wrote the rules for truck styling. The PT Cruiser, love it or hate it, was a bold move. The 300 is awesome looking. It'd be a shame to see them disappear completely but I don't know if they'll ever recover.

Ya, Chrysler has almost always(80's being a huge exception)had great Design/Styling. You'd think that the Mercedes partnership would have increased Reliability, but somehow it didn't.

I think Fiat should just Manufacture their current lineup at Chrysler for the US Market. Maybe keep a few current Chrysler Models that still Sell well, like the Minivans. Maybe in time allow Chrysler back into making their own Models again, but only after improving Reliability. Which kinda begs the question of which I have no clue about: How are Fiats for Reliability?

Umm the Ram started the "Big-Rig" styling back in '94.

Arguable. They may have attempted it, but they certainly didn't pull it off until they introduced the hog-nosed look of the 2002s.

Ford pretty much Cloned the Dodge Ram in the styling area. At least at first.
