It appears uncle Joe will not be throwing his hat in the ring.
Vice President Joe Biden believes life begins “at the moment of conception.”

“I’m prepared to accept that at the moment of conception there’s human life and being,” Biden said, during an interview with Father Matt Malone, S.J. of “America Media.”

Biden, however, said that he would not “impose” that view on “non-*God*-fearing people that have a different view. ”At one point, Biden also acknowledged that “abortion is always wrong,” but again, he doesn’t want to “impose doctrine” on other people.

This can't be true because liberals eat fetuses that they acquire at abortion complexes.

On a more serious note, conservatives should take note that just because you fear God doesn't mean you should use power of government to impose your fear of God on others.

What he believes is of no importance. It is only if he tries to impose his beliefs on others. And as he said he wouldnt do. So good for him.

"CHRISTIANS ARE INSANE AND HAVE NO PLACE IN GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!"

Biden comes out of a religious loon.

"Well OK, but he's one of the good'uns"

Or, maybe there are liberals that think the first way and different liberals that don't think that way.

Meanwhile, there are many conservatives that think we should have a Christian government while also thinking Islam should be illegal.

Call me when Biden demands raped women carry and care for their rapist's child. Or when contraception is considered a form of abortion. Or when women seeking abortions are forced to have an ultrasound. Or when women are told they wanted to be raped and impregnated. edit: Or cries oppression for not having his opinion made into law to force others to follow it.

Thanks.

This would be the major difference:
he doesn’t want to “impose doctrine” on other people.

His, and anyone else's, opinion is welcomed - so long as it does not become rule and law.

Abortion always wrong? What if a girl is raped?
Silly poster, didn't you know that only women who actually want to be raped get raped? And in those very rare cases that it's a "legitimate rape," "the female body has ways to try to shut the whole thing down" (unless the woman actually WANTS the baby, in which case we can't allow her to change her mind, because of "accepting responsibility").

In other words, if a women gets pregnant, it means that she wasn't actually raped OR that she actually wants the baby. Which means that rape is never an excuse for getting an abortion.

Ugh, does this mean he's still thinking of running? Why does anyone want that to happen?

Maybe, but he recognizes that his opinion on the matter should not be imposed on others.
I think we need to elect people who don't have opinions that 14 year old children who took a sex ed class in an actual progressive country already understand is factually wrong.

And those people are assholes. That doesn't make Biden any less of a nut, and certainly not someone who should be president.

So tell us, do YOU think that someone who believes in a magical man in the sky should be our president?

I don't give a shit as long as he can keep church and state separate.

Although it may upset some left leaning people, there are more people in the US right now who say abortion should be illegal in most cases than those who say it should be legal in most cases.

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/14/politics/cnn-poll-guns-immigration-abortion-2016/

Biden's problem is not his view, but his total hypocrisy; although he thinks abortion is murder, he somehow manages to willfully ignore his morals once he leaves the church.

Still, it's better than Clinton, who doesn't think the federal government should have any limits on abortion, and thus appears okay with aborting a fetus up to the moments before its regular birth.

No, Biden understands his personal moral code is based on a belief in an entity he cannot prove exists, therefore it would be immoral to use the government to push those beliefs on others.

I've always been anti-abortion and consider myself mostly liberal. It's not just a liberal/conservative thing, but also a belief about when life begins.
