I find it amusing how the right consistently attacks teachers, lessens their funds, their pay, their rights. Now they want to let them be armed. What a fantastic idea. Lets take one of the most stressful, underpaid, underappreciated jobs in the country, and now lets give them all guns. I'm sure will go over FANTASTIC.

That's what I'm worried about as well. I have much love for our teachers and educators, but they get shit on in this country--by the bureaucracies, their students, and the parents. I question the intelligence behind the reasoning to arming teachers.

Um, it's not a new thing. Many states have allowed it for a very long time. And they don't have problems with teachers going postal in a classroom who are lawfully carrying a concealed weapon in school.

I think it should be a requirement for every gun control advocate to rent an AR-15 at their local range and fire at least 60 rounds.

I imagine the vast majority will be shocked when:
1. They had fun.
2. They didn't experience any urge to start randomly killing people.
3. Re-loading takes all of 1 second.

You'll pick up on this if you listen to the mind of the liberal enough. They FEEL they couldn't trust themselves to not go on a murdering rampage if they had a weapon.
