Sad, Harvey. You don't recognize your hypocrisy, but I guess that's a common thing for hypocrites. I like the repetitious insults - shows what a wee man you are.

Keep raving over your boy Biden and his "vernacular", though. I guess it matters in this domain you seem to lord over. Maybe you could write a song about him. Does anybody know anything that rhymes with "vernacular"?

spectacular. spectacular rhymes with vernacular

The shop owner was being a smartass but not a good way for a VP to respond to a citizen.

BTW - If Biden had accepted that would be a quid pro quo bribe and you same people would still be bitching.

Biden would have been better reminding the shop owner that Obama did cut taxes as part of the stimulus bill in 2009.

... the store owner -- one of the people that actually does something to contribute to the economy -- had the audacity to ask a liberal to lower taxes? Blasphemy! Taxes are meant to only be raised, end of story.

His taxes WERE lowered. What is he complaining about?

What would have been funny if the guy had kicked his ass.

Meh, if Biden or any other politician took that attitude with me I would have told him he works for me and GTFO. That would have made the news for sure :p

I love VP Biden, he's great. Every time he opens his mouth, I get to laugh for a good long while.

Kudos for the shop keeper for not slapping him upside the head though. :)

This is a big to-do about nothing. I saw the video and all I can say is to leave Biden alone. I got the impression he was being sarcastic and that was from watching it on the news. They only showed a little clip which I am sure is taking the whole thing out of context.

If I were the shop manager, I would have grabbed Biden's frozen yogurt and told him to get the F#@K out!

I actually prefer politicians to be that way. At least they are saying what they think. I hope people don't think that when all these politicians are going around kissing babies and telling people how much they like them that they actually mean it.

I can't say if I think Biden was being a jackass or just returning a friendly ribbing (which is all the shopowner was doing - he wasn't being a smartass - he was just joking around man-to-man with the VP), because I honestly don't know. But if I was the store owner and thought he was actually getting in my face, I'd have no problem telling him to leave and not come back. These guys - liberals and conservatives alike - think they're above the rest of us. They've been in power for so long and around so many others with so much power for so long that they forget who the fuck they are and who the fuck they work for. Biden is absolutely no exception, and his demeanor when he thinks he's off camera and off mic reflect this abundantly.

I would love to laugh a Biden, but I won't sit through an ad to do it. Don't bother much now clicking video links. I am treating myself as a government that spends too much and has been put of an austerity program.

Harvey doesn't show up to an argument without belittling or attempting to marginalize those with which he argues. By now it's expected.

The guy is a smart ass. You have the VP in your business and you make a comment trying to show him up. Another Joe the Plumber loser. I couldn't stand Dick Cheney, but if he had came to my place of work I would have been respectable. There is a time and place for everything and this was uncalled for on the shopowner's part.

This. Don't see anything wrong with Biden's response. And I don't like him.

LoL - So a small business owner asking a politician who walked into his business to lower his taxes is now considered being a jackass? Who is Biden supposed to work for again?

Then again I guess if you believe that businesses and employed people are created to keep politicians and government feed well then I can see how that might be your view in life.

I certainly don't feel that way about businesses and employed people. But I do think the media is just having a lull in their stories so they present this for people to get all worked up over. It's a nothing story. The shopowner was being a smartass (which is perfectly fine) and Biden called him on it.

BTW, I don't agree with Obama and his administration on most things ---but the nitpicking of every little thing that goes on with Obama and Biden is just ridiculous.

LOL so he's a "motherfucker" now?

RIP HIS LEGS OFF!

I didn't see his "I am a motherfucker" shirt on....

BTW, come on, it was all joking around. Except for Biden's last comment.
"How much do I owe?" Did Biden really expect to pay? I mean it was probably a joke anyway because he was expecting to get it for free. You know, a typical comment to sound polite like he cares about paying even though we all know the VP will get his treat for free.

The manager obviously joked back with a mini jab.

MAYBE Biden was trying to joke back as was claimed in the article. Maybe he wasn't. So either he acted like a douche... or he joked but sucked at it. You know those jokes where people take too far and then there's an awkward silence? This was probably it if you liberal fanatics insist on Biden being right. Either way he's an idiot for an inappropriate comment--joke or not.

this is really a silly issue to be arguing about. Biden shouldn't have said that. but big fucking deal. we all knew he would open his mouth before he thinks.
