My 16 month old Ti 4600 developed a fan howl. I less than 2 weeks it was replaced with a 5900XT-OC.

If I cough up for a 6800, it will be a BFG.

Pretty nice I will have to go with BFG myself then. Rewarding good company support is a must if we want to keep it.

Definately BFG all the way. I had a bad RMA from them. A 5900nu. The second card they sent to me was a 5900U 256MB card. I was floored. I paid 169.00 for the BFG 5900nu. They ended up GIVING me a card that was at the time worth 330.00. Unbeatable customer satisfaction if you buy BFG.

BFG gets two thumbs up from me too. My FX5900 RMA was painless and I received a new card from them in less than a week. Great company!

Thats nice to know, I hope I get an upgrade. I bought a fx5900 from them which turned out to be defective, I got it RMA'd and now this new one is defective too. I'm going to send it back in some tiime and hope they give me an upgrade or something.

BFG's RMA service is top-notch. Their tech support can be a bit clueless at times (although I have a tendency to call at 3AM) but RMAs tend to be prompt from what I've read. My RMA was a walk-in and took less than 5 minutes (I couldn't finish reading Anand's article in CPU) and I was on my way home with a shiny non-upgraded 5900.

I luckily haven't had to RMA my BFG FX5900NU, but I did order a Razor Viper (distributed by BFG according to MDE), which initially came without a driver cd. Three weeks later, I got an envelope mailed to me - sure enough, it was the driver cd. Supposedly, they had difficulty getting the cd's pressed in time for the release, so they originally shipped them without it. I was completely floored when I got the cd, most companies' customer service has lead us to expect that when the sale is over, so is the support. A big thumbs up to Razer, BFG, and I really can't leave Newegg out of any customer service shout out either.

MDE: Did you ever check into getting a job with BFG, good luck if you did :)

BFG distributes the Sniper line of mice (made by Razer), they only distribute the BFG branded ones. No, I didn't ask about a job there yet, although now that I have a semi-reliable car I may.

Glad to hear about another great customer service company, they really took care of the customers with the mysterious GameVE issue as well.

Props to them

I am another one of the peeps that RMA'd a 5900NU and received a Ultra in return.

Bought the NU off FS/FT for $150, had artifacts when I got it. RMA'd and am now running a 256mb 5900 Ultra

Gotcha, confused about the distribution then. Oh well, then props to Razer. Great mouse, great service. Good luck with the car/job :)

Went from BFGti4200 to BFG5900nu. Good cards. I sold the 4200 very fast using the lifetime warranty prop. Gotta like it.

I think Asus need to read this topic, because although I like their cards due to temp reporting, (often GPU & Ram), they are hopeless at rma or simply helping out buyers that have a little savy. It took me OVER six months of continual e-mailing loads of different Asus depts to eventually get a replacement fan for a GF2 GTS.

Ludicrous since the smart doc app pops up saying you should replace the fan, all i wanted to know was how? it was a while ago but I doubt things have improved much.......

here's the old topic about it...
