I had a thread on another forum asking where all the BFG cards have gone lately, and someone thought they might me clearing the 8800 stock to introduce the new thermal intelligence like they recently have on the 8600 series. If this is the case, I doubt that few or none of us would be getting these new models (but really, they only run a bit cooler, so I'd have to say its mostly a marketing ploy), but it would at least possibly free up more stock to us. Anyways, let's hang in there. When you think about it, theres only the 20th, 21st, and the 22nd, or possibly the 23rd dates to still ship on this deal. We must be getting closer, and BFG said they'd be sending out stock at the end of the week when i asked them in an email comment / question, so lets keep our fingers crossed!

after thinking about it, if the stocks and supplies for the original 8800gts 640mb oc2e are gone and BFG is replacing it with the upgraded Thermal Intelligence models like someone speculated, do you think they would send us those, or simply cancel our orders? I could totally see BB receiving this as new stock and counting it as a new product, totally unrelated to our orders. Anyone care to email them and ask? I've emailed them too many times in one week haha.
i dont know why, but ive checked every online retailer, and nobody has 8800gts BFG cards. Didnt check gtx cards though, but if they really are gone and are being upgraded and whatnot, I think we can kiss our unshipped orders goodbye ladies and gentlemen.
I'd really appreciate it if someone would send customer service an email asking them what would happen if "our cards" are no longer being sent to BB, and BFG replaces that line of cards with the Thermal Intelligence models, if we'll be getting those instead or having our orders canceled / permanently backordered...
