That's where teamworks goes in. You don't want to walk? How about you stay with a squad, keep your squad leader alive, and keep spawning on him instead of walking. None of this casual spawn on anybody crap that leads to ridiculously stupid firefights.

And possibly capture key points that have transport vehicles instead going around capturing random stuff.

This is the teamwork that Battlefield 3 has. There is no teamwork, there is no NEED for teamwork, because its so easy to do everything. Its the very definition of a casualized game. You don't have to play WELL.

Thanks for not answering my question.

I'm sorry. Apparently subtle nuances don't work with you.

Fine then, ill dumb it down. Yes, I don't care if it takes me 15 minutes to walk to another base. if it takes me 15 minutes to walk to a base, then obviously means that the team sucks, the squad sucks, and I suck.

If you're taking 15 minutes to walk to a base, you have no business playing battlefield because you have absolutely no skills.

Wait, wait.

Are you actually trying to infer that the likes of Doom and Doom 2 are intellectually superior to the likes of MW3...?

This re-imagining of the past that some people do is absurd.

Funny that there are only the same two of you on this forum defending current gen and insisting it has not gone downhill for the sake of mass market greed. Just look around other forums on the internet, YouTube comments etc. Mirrors everything said here how everything now is just "moar guns and splosions" and "they don't make deep games like this anymore" and PS2 was the last.

Dozens of YouTube videos of the most cherished and memorable scenes in gaming and literary history and all tens of thousands of comments unanimously agreeing current gen blows and we will never have games like those ever again. The few vocal members such as myself on this forum aren't alone in noticing how cheap and shallow all the big budget titles are today.

And you both have the same informative "anybody who doesn't like CoD /BF3 is mentally ill" retort while numerous opponents have posted examples you choose to ignore.

If you can't see how "CoD fever" has ruined other franchises like Resident Evil and Final Fantasy, then you are among the current gen blinded by pretty explosions and you are beyond reach.

There are plenty of forums where people love the current gen and look forward to the next, while still respecting the past.

It's just unfortunate that the tone of this board has gone so downhill over the past few years that the level of conversation actually resembles YouTube comments. It literally doesn't get any more base and ugly than that.

You're the worst example of it. You literally derail every thread you post in.

/facepalm

Thanks again for avoiding the question.

Thank you for catering to the lowest common denominator and refusing to actually read posts?

Thank you for continuing the dumbing down of games.

Thank you for supporting a game where "I find it more fun with less than 48 players" in a series that has prided itself in massive battles is an actual term being thrown around now.

Please go away.

Its seems to me there are only a couple of zealots here bashing BF3 and I suspect its because you guys simply suck at fast twitch gunfighting and prefer a long drawn out game where you can stay alive for a few extra minutes. If you want a snoozefest sim maybe you should give ArmA a try.

Also I think nostalgia is getting the better of you because those old games arent as deep and exciting as you are making them out to have been. If you dont believe me just go back and replay them today. But if you guys want to live in the past, go right ahead, the rest of us will continue to play and enjoy our modern games.

let the bashing continue.............
