Yeah it's the same thing happening to everyone, definitely a Dice side MP GPU single threaded utilisation problem considering the cards are at 99% for the whole of story mode and not in MP at any settings! Question is do we complain to Dice or AMD? Or is there even a point?

Just as a reference I've tried every "fix" in the BF3 battlelog thread and everything on various forums from setting the CPU sleep thing to 0 to enable core balancing to setting the max fps and all the various in game developer commands available, nothing works.

But you are glossing over the area of multiplayer being more demanding on your cpu, particularly in 64. It now has to calculate all player and vehicle locations, physics, movement, building destruction and so forth. All on very large maps, while still feeding your GPUs.

If I disable the frame rate limiter, my cards are all pegged at 99% usage in mp.

As I said above I was using Eyefinity for a month with no problems, both cards at full overclock and I was getting 99% usage all the time, if it was a CPU issue the utilisation would be worse than 1080p, but it wasn't, it was perfect.

It's a 1080p only bug, not a physical bottleneck in any way, shape or form. I have my max frame limit set to 350 from 200 to no avail.
