True. It is all Metro's fault. I was in the same boat, ready to cancel my pre order but wanted to wait till I got to play conquest cause I don't care for rush at all. Once I was able to get into a Caspian Borders server thanks to the leaked password my opinion took nearly a 180.

I only like conquest, never really played Rush much....bleh

The metro map is not really indicative of a true BF map. As Kaotik said, the Caspian map is probably(I haven't tried it yet) much more telling of the awesome BF experience.

(Can't wait for SWTOR either)
 
I would really enjoy the game more if you didnt fall through the damn map or lose all your unlocks in game on the frequent dc's.

Would like it also if they had 3-4 maps, not one meh one and one that is locked and always full.

The changing settings only while alive is quite possibly the dumbest thing ever as well.

I got into a jet once. I got off the ground and 10 seconds later I was back on the ground, sideways. Last time I'll be flying one of those for a long long time 😀
I prefer my tanks anyways
 
Decent game, Plays a lot like that medal of honor that they came out with last year. Not sure if im gonna keep my pre order. Got other games i rather play.
 
First of all it was a giant pain in the arse to get it installed. Second, it's hard to start up due to all the bugs on the site. Tells you servers cannot be found if you try to join them, or tells you they're full when they aren't. Also, once in game, you have to deploy your guy into the battlefield to even tinker with the game options, and you'll quickly find that keys are almost all un-customizable. All reminds me of when Steam launched. Steam blew chunks for the first couple years, now it's nearly perfect. EA is dumb though so I don't think Origin will ever work out too well. They got a buttload of bugs to workout before launch.
 
I was hoping for larger maps, something like El Alamein or Gazala from the original BF1942... I know these are only two maps, but I don't think they are going to get much larger than Caspian Border. I hopped in a jet and pretty much just flew in circles because there wasn't much room, seems the maps are getting smaller each iteration. 🙁
 
I'm not exactly sure whats the big deal about planes anyways. Maps can't possibly be big enough to accommodate both infantry and planes at the same time.

Helicopters and tanks is good enough and BC2 already gave us that.

Why did FPS's become just a big gay ass camping fest. PC gaming is so dead

Here is my review:

After spending all day installing (I have crappy 3g internet) it got "Error during install" after downloading nearly 4gb. I clicked "Check for update" and it tried to download 4gb worth of data again (like it didn't download anything). I uninstalled the game and origin. EA had a single chance to impress me with their mandatory Origin and it sucks... No thanks...

I assume never played BF2.

They need to bring bombs back. They were great at clearing out campers.

funny people still deny it. I dont want it to die i am a pc gamer. Now people consider themselves pc gamers if they play wow. Or this crap, its a bad console rip. PC gaming was online gaming now there is more money to be made on console gaming.

Also FYI its mouses.... but your a pc gamer why would you know that. Also work on your reading comprehension i said FPS became a big gay camp fest. You prob are like other 'gamers' dont know what camping is. I didnt have a huge problem with camping back in the day, because it really gave no advantage now you are rewarded for it.
