bf2 jsut sucks

I have stuttering in APCs, and when there's way too much going on. Besides that, it's fine. I still wanna get more RAM though, but I can't justify the cost.

Playing it online is always laggy of fvck for me, no matter what I do. Even with 2GB of RAM. Single player is just fine though, smooth as butter.

anybody know how it would run on the following

AMD Athlon XP 3000+@3200+(2333Mhz, 166x14)
1GB DDR 333
9700PRO 128mb

I'm curious to find out if i would be wasting my time buying it or not

First, Hi. (LOL)

It ran like total sh~t on my PC with the following:
P4 530 @ 3.4GHz
1GB GSKILL @ 2.5-4-4-7 @ 225MHz
NVidia 6800nu @ stock.

Quite honestly, I don't think this game is really playable with a 128MB card and 1GB RAM of any spec.

To the op, I played it for 2 minutes before I uninstalled it.

hey, read the other opinions too...😛

My is super laggy and even with my rig in my sig i have to put it at 800x600 to even play sort of smooth. It always stutters when you look around or alot of action is going on. No other game does it.

LOL, all the other opinions lead to the same conclusion. My opinion is that BF2 is (I got warned to not say the word I want to say again)

I have:

A64 3000+
1GB DDR400
6800GT.

I just got the 6800GT, and had a 9800 Pro before that. It ran fine @ 1280x1024 and everything medium. Lots more stuttering in APCs though. Now I have it @ 1280x1024 w/ everything high, except for textures (still @ med). It runs better and looks better.

Stuttering may also just be caused by your connection. If my ping goes past 250 I lag and I usually die, because I lose control.

uhh yea my old comp had a Geforce 6800GT. Intel 2.8ghz processor. and 1gb of generic pc3200 ram. and the game ran great at pretty high settings.

My rig:
AMD 3200 Newcastle, 2 x 512 Corsair on an Asus K8VSEDX board, 9800 Pro 128mb.
Ran smooth as silk at 1280 x 1024.
Update your drivers, jr.

Mine:
AMD 64 2800+
DFI LANPARTY UT nF3 250Gb Motherboard
2 x 512 PC3200 Kingston Value RAM
XFX AGP 6600GT

All settings at medium playing at 1024x768 very smoothly. The only time I get the stutters is when there is intense actions (like explosions) and tons of people around.
