2 comps each with their own CD keys trying to play BF1942 on a home network which consists of (1) cable modem, (1) Lynksys Cable Router (1) comp with a Lynksys ethernet card and (1) comp with on-board lan (nForce2).
I always noticed that BF1942 would become nearly unplayable when one of my girls would get on the other comp to browse the internet, and that other games such as Vietcong, RTCW, Enemy Territory, ect., though slowed, were still ok. And no issues playing those apps on the two comps joining internet servers.
Then my buddy came over and brought his BF1942 over and once both comps would enter an internet server, they would nearly freeze the gameplay. One or the other would be fine, but two would be totally unplayable. Is the a special way I should be setting my comps up to play BF1942?
