I ate dorm food for a year so I can eat just about anything now.
I LOVE American type food. Meat loaf, fried chicken, mashed potatoes... MMMMMMMMMMM... I'm asian, and I actually like all types of food, but, I find American food seems to gather in the greatest quantity! 😀
Oh, I did a big burger place thread a while ago. Went to Fuddruckers (sp?) this weekend. Got a 1 pounder... disappointed. :| Guess I'll be making my own if I want to go large.

WTF? How can you come here and b|tch about the supposed horrors involved in Western cuisine, while praising Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese cuisine?
Oriental restraunts (here in the U.S. that is) are notorious for cutting corners to save a buck or two. Every single Chinese restraunt in America has - at some point or another - substituted illegal horse or dog meat for beef (I have several friends whose parents run Chinese restraunts who think that this is somehow funny, and I read about other such incidents in the paper all the time). And I've heard Vietnamese restraunts often throw in roaches found scurrying on the floors. Sickening.
And if you really want to be grossed out, go to a Chinese restraunt in China. They keep puppies in the front of the store, which people pick out. Then while the puppy is stile alive, they throw it in boiling hot water. After a few minutes - when the puppy is barely alive - they pull it out and skin it. Some of this stuff is so disgusting that your average PBS cooking show wouldn't show it. I saw this stuff on a latenight HBO documentary. In Japan, a popular sushi ingredient is live insects.
I work in a grocery store, and - in all honesty - sometimes I am grossed out by the fact that some folks buy 10x as much meat as they do grains, vegetables, and fruits. But I can't imagine how sickening it would be to work at an oriental grocery store or restraunt.
And how can you call Americans lazy? America always has been, and always will be a work driven society. Sure, welfare and strikes give American labor a bad rep, but the average American still puts in more hours of work each year than people in any other developed country.
Check out those people that worship cows, or Jews that won't ever eat meat from pigs.

I am almost 24 years old and in great health. Not the most perfect muscular shape, but good enough.
I eat out every now and then, eat fast food, etc etc. For every bad life form I ingest, my body learns how to deal with it. Sh!t, I could have food poisoning everyday and not know it because one day I forgot to wash after going to the bathroom and took in a small amount of bacteria that my body became immune to soon afterwords.

I'll tell you what. there may be lots of things wrong with America's Welfare and Assistance program but when I was laid up in the hospital because of serious illness and no means to support my family because I had no health coverage, Welfare and Medi-cal and W.I.C. was there to provide for my wife and daughter. I don't think I would be alive today if it wasn't for the system that you hate soo much. Where do you get off? Wasn't this thread supposed to be about dirty floors or something? maybe you should change the thread title to, "I am an angry immigrant ranting about sh!t that I have no right to!" Tripleshot... your damn right about meat falling on the ground on the packing floor! I use to work for a company down here as a student in the summer (MGI Packers), and let me tell you, meat OFTEN falls on the ground. When you're pulling 20-40lb slabs of beef from a conveyor belt onto your cutting table (to trim the fat), accidents do happen and they do fall on the floor. You're not suppose to pick it up, but we do... 20lb of beef is not cheap, and if you drop half a dozen of those a day they're not goign to be happy.
And food falling on the ground in restaurants is NOT that common. At least for my friends and relatives. I know over a dozen people that own restaurants, from Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants, to pizzas and fish and chip shops. It just doesn't happen if you know how to cook! And if it does, it's not worth salvaging (you drop a plate on the ground, you really thing they're going to pick it back up and put it on a new plate?! you think customers aren't going to recognize the dirt or hair.. you ever try brushing off food that has fallen to the ground? not easy).
Maybe fast food restaurants i could understand... not like McD or Wendy hires the best of the best. But then again those kind of food it's not the dirt on the floor that is the problem, it's the food itself.

and then just make some vegetable and stir fried with beef
or chicken or port whichever you like some seasoning
simple as that
take no longer then 30min
but instead
you don't feel like it cause you
find your bread and meat is more tasty.
maybe more convenient?

I myself can never eat anything that isn't rich in flavor
example
baloony and bread
hamburger
spagetti
cheese sandwich
sub sandwich
pizza
mashed potato with gravy and turkey
with corn, with peas
let see here some more
fried chicken with bread
hot dogs
baloony sandwich
campbell soup
I could go on and as far as I can say it will never be as good
as asian food.
because american don't care about good tasting they just want something anything to fill them up.
my next door neighbor say he eat to live
meaning don't care about crappy taste in any food he eat
example TV Dinner
the problem with eating this sort of food
is that they are rich in fat, they will make you gain weight
really fast
heck even an asian dude can go from 140 lbs to 200 lbs in 1 month period.
If you want to eat like us asian
you must learn to cook rice
there is nothing wrong
it actually blow away bread
as these thing have too much yeast in them and they taste horrible
in the long run.
rice and hot dog is actually quite tasty
oh never try pizza and rice they don't mix
infact pizza is a lazy cooking method
of bread, cheese, fatty meat, whatever crap they can throw in to make
it look nice.
Pizza alone if eatten until full is high in cholesterol
and give off high fever make you really hot
and you need to take tylenol.
I dont know which is more annoying, trying to understand what point you try to get across in all these threads, or the way you type so that everything
