Better of two evils: EA or Sony

Which is more evil?

Sony with they're ever increasing product's that ether are: Unrealistic prices (EX: PS3), products breaking after the first week, or simply.. products that just burst into flame..

EA and their imperialistic/demoralizing take over of all video games. (Ad's in games, buying out virtually every company they can, etc)

I voted sony. EA is not vertical enough to be truly evil. Sony uses its vertical market to bully other companies and stifle competition. EA just buys out competition and maybe stifles creativity in games a bit. But still they sell games, and many are good.

EA is far worse because they have a chance to practicly own almost the whole market in time.

Sony is bad but they dont have a chance of a monopoly so I can ignore them if I want to, impossible to ignore EA if you like playing games on your pc.

Everyone blames EA for buying out companies. They are only able to do this because the studios are in poor financial shape because video game developers = bad managers. They either get bought out, or they dissolve.

Yeah, have you all forgotten about Sony's rootkit fiasco? I think that clearly makes them worse than EA.

And the fvcking spyware isn't spyware; you've been receiving ads every way from Sunday since you've been on the internet and people have been tracking you a lot more closely than EA. Get over it.

Besides, they told you about it when you bought the game. It's been on the intarwebs and if you're on ATOT then you keep up with this kind of thing. It's really not the huge deal that everyone is making it out to be, even though the record shows that I don't like it.

BF2142 is not spyware. That's already been discussed. I'm going to see if there's a workaround by trying to use the method that was used in the game SWAT. At least EA buys out talent of dying companies (well, DICE being the exception).

EA is a moneymaking workhorse that is a model of good business, but they really need to work on their PR.

D.I.C.E Canada was shut down, Im sure most of the staff had the option of moving to EA LA if they wanted too.

The D.I.C.E. development team in Sweden will probably ultimately turn into EA Europe.

hehe, but the thing is, the reason why they keep rehashing is because people keep buying their rehashe's .

I'm actually semi-excited for madden for the Wii. Provides something different for a change.
