Better keep the Ferrari in the bedroom instead...

Nothing's wrong with it. It's just a bit dirty.

I bet fixing that mirror is now worth more than that truck 😛

Anyway, since the truck was sitting on top of the 360 I bet theres more damage than what's in the pictures 😱

Isn't the 360 a carbon fiber body? If so, the paint is probably messed up, but the CF itself is sickeningly strong. A Benz SLR demo car (also CF) rammed a Volkswagen in South Africa when they first rolled them out for demonstration. The volkswagen was totalled, the SLR wasn't even scratched. And yes, there were pics.

The Ferrari is clearly damaged...

For starters - the mirror is broken off... And I am going to assume that it was backed out of the garage... meaning the truck landed right on top of the glass back probably damaging the engine...

The thread's title is funny because I've thought about getting a nice car's body and putting it in my basement and then making that large area my room. I've wanted to get an old Corvette convertible, restore it so that it looks nice even if it doesn't run and put it in my basement.

I would be seriously looking into this, but it's a HUGE PITA. After talking with some people, the best solution would be to have the car split up into 2 or 3 pieces and put down there, then have it all put together and painted there as well. I guess I should have done this when the house was being built 😛

Oh well, maybe something in the future? The area in the basement is rather large and has lots of space so it would fill up half of the room very nicely leaving the other half for a bed, computer, desk, etc.

Someday.... 😀

why?

i want to have part of my driveway turned into an hydraulic lift that lowers itself into the basement. car pulls up on lift, lift lowers to basement level, pull car into basement/garage, lift goes up.

good idea for when i get my own house 😀

yes, yes it would 😀

wonder how much it would cost though. i guess the most expensive part would be the lift. also dunno if making a big hole in the basement wall would be safe for the foundation. im sure its possible though
