Better ink then Megatoners IMO even Epson's ink.

Nice. I'm running out of ink. I've ordered from Swift Ink before and the print qualities have been great so far.

Same here, cant print color from my Epson with ink from megatoners. Comes out all yellow.
 
For what it's worth, I have tried refills and several non-oem cartridge providers for various HP, Lexmark, and Canon printers for the past 8 years. I have always run into problems, especially clogging. I have no doubt that others have success with anything they buy, but I think they probably print far more frequently than I do, so the clogging might be less of a problem. Consumer Reports also did a review of generic inks and found them to be prone to cause clogging. I am currently using a Canon as my main printer, and I plan on giving Swift a try. I don't mind paying a bit more than some of the other generics if the quality is better.
 
I just replaced my IP3000's black catridge with one of these. It took a while for the ink to start being used. I had to do a head cleaning before I saw any black output at all, but now everything's fine.
 
any chance on a bundle special.

I like to buy all the inks at once for my epson r300

When i search for epson r300, i get no results for a black cartridge, just the color ones????
 
I havent had the chance to use the ink yet, but I can tell you that they have extremeley fast service. I got my order in 2 business days. Incredible!
 
Hummm...well I'm trying to find out if they are the Arrow brand carts from China with the USA made formulabs ink in them.

They're not. Our ink AND all components are made in the USA. We follow all OEM specs., including pigment vs. dye specs for best possible results.

I am confused.

I notice that the Epson R200 I recently purchased uses a dye-based ink (T048XXX series cartridges). What ink is in the replacement cartridges that you offer for this printer?
 
Hello kingcrab,

The second response is more accurate. The first response where I state pigment in ALL cartridges isn't very clear... it should say "ALL cartridges where OEM's use pigment." Therefore, the T048XXX are the same as the OEM (as well as everything else).

What happened to the big price reduction you were negociating?

I'm paying $2.50 fpr a BCI-3 and 6s and $1.69 for a BIC-24bk. Both with USA made, formulabs/Kimberly Clark ink.

I can get Rainbow brand "made in Texas" which uses C&G (German) ink for 20% less than that.

Not to mention carts with Repeatotype (USA made) ink.

The prices have been negotiated. Nearly ever cartridge will be reduced by 20-50%, more than likely this weekend (a select few of them already have been). It's a matter of doing some finishing touches on the new site, and allowing the domain to propagate. Quantity discounts will be made available.

By the way, Nectron (Texas company mentioned in previous post) is made-in-China. Not only this, they use dyes across the board. I have a lot of companies trying to get my business, but I usually turn them down. Our ink is top-notch. Quality is one department in which we will never cut corners.

We will be much cheaper than before (again, probably this weekend). But we will never be the cheapest ink store on the net. We do not sell the cheapest ink. We carry OEM-quality ink at a very reasonable price. I don't usually like to talk about other companies, but Inkgrabber and MonsterInkjets are owned by the same person. They use Nectron (made-in-China, all dyes). Our prices will be only slightly higher than Inkgrabber's, or in many cases equal-to.

BTW, I've never had a clogging problem with the Scencient ink or the Repeatotype which is mainly what I have used to refill over the years.

Currently running 13 Canon printers on a daily basis. We run them until they wear out. Some carts have been refilled over 100 times. Some are continous feed.

I've tried refilling and remanufactured HPs and forget it. They clog when you look at them wrong.

Epsons are known cloggers too. Even with their own carts.

As far as the PC World article...it's tenuous at best. They really didn't know what they were testing. Seems like they just picked a few vendors. Printpal, Carrot, Printek, whatever. Not very complete. They should have broken it down to ink manufacturers.

As for that PC World article, which was YOUR INK? in their test?

Yeah, Rainbow isn't as good as some others.

I see you point about mixing the ink in a way. Say, while repeatotype maybe the best for one brand of printer say HP...but formulabs ink might be better for Canons etc. This can be taken further to a color for color breakdown. I've found the Formulabs Canon magenta better than repeatotypes magenta, etc.
