Great episode. Watching the super fake/manipulative married couple who stole the $1.6 mil (Ned and Maude Flanders) act like stubborn jerks, and then get blown the fuck out in their own house was super satisfying.

Alpine Shepherd Boy was supposed to be "Jell-O" (episode where Saul first advertises in the old folks home with the jello cups) but they ran into issues with usage rights.

Yeah, they were going for the whole xxxxx-o theme. The final three episodes of the season are RICO, Pimento and one I shall not name because it might possibly be spoiler-ish and might not be, but somebody would whine about it.

Please, don't spoil the show that we know ends up making poor Jimmy become a "criminal" lawyer, Saul Goodman! I would hate to know what is going to happen!

This show is great. Ehrmantraut is my new favorite character.

He always was a fav of mine. Now, in BCC, he's like Jessie was to Walter White . . . the even more interesting, supposedly supporting character.

I Have to be honest.

We're a good 8 episodes in right?

It's nowhere near crazy addictive 'omg so good' as BB. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of the top shows out there.

But I remember watching BB, I couldn't WAIT to see what happened next, right from season 1.

This is a solid show.

Yeah, BB was exceptionally good at ending episodes with mini-cliffhangers so you couldn't wait until next week to know what happened. There were always several balls in the air and the guys were usually on the brink of death or discovery. That's not going to be doable for BCS, at least not for a while. Maybe when Jimmy finally becomes Saul and is deeper in the criminal underworld we can get some of that edge of the seat stuff, but it won't work for a guy specializing in elder-law.

BB wasn't that good to me until halfway through season 2.

BB had me hooked from seeing Walter in his underwear in the middle of a dirt road.

The story of WW was a path to destruction. BCS is a slow burn from Jimmy to Saul.

best part is, the main female chick (forget her name) isn't annoying like the ones in BB!

Surely you're talking about the women in BB other than Krysten Ritter. She could have her way with me any day.

Laura Fraser could tie me up too. Ya know, if she wanted.

Yea funny how as soon as he got his mind focused on work he didn't even realize he was walking outside. Can't believe there are only 2 more episodes in this season.

Kim mentioning that Chuck is still a partner is incredibly foreboding for Jimmy's success in this class action. Even if Hamlin doesn't have any actual legal claim to this case, I can see Chuck not fighting it. And actually, there's a respect there for HHM, that Chuck just doesn't have for his own brother. Obviously, Chuck doesn't think of Jimmy as HHM material.

I think there's so much money involved in this company's scheme that Chuck is going to get murdered. Chuck's death will discourage Jimmy from following the straight-and-narrow path, pushing him toward a more-profitable criminal path.

This would be similar to how Mike Ehrmantraut is getting into criminal business to help his granddaughter (discouraged after seeing what happens to good guys like his son Matty). Both Ehrmantraut and Jimmy have a shady past and we already know that they both become successful criminals.

Chuck's firm is going to swoop in or get paid off and kill the fraud case, and something must happen that kills "Saul's" innate sense of justice/fairness, like Chuck's death/murder...

Exactly what I was thinking.

That and Chuck is an HHM partner - they can't hire HHM.

Jimmy is going to get f'd in the A on this for sure

yeah, i wonder if HHM is going to end up getting all of the winnings since chuck is going to take the lead on it. yesterday they had the little back and forth between jimmy and the chick when he called her at her office, and she specifically mentions that chuck is still on HHM payroll and he can't work for anything unless it is probono, and then jimmy said he knows the clause inside and out and that he will be fine. i can see jimmy getting royally screwed over on this, and that is going to make him flip to the darkside.

I foresee that Chuck will meet his end sometime soon. :(

yea i thought he was going to trip and die while walking and reading, then leaving jimmy to build a 20m case with NO experience and failing hard then becoming Saul to survive.

My prediction is that Chuck is directly involved in the fucking of Jimmy and his bitterness leads to anger which leads to hate which leads to suffering...
