I find it so depressing she is so out of touch with the state of Michigan schools when she has spent a good chunk of her life trying to "improve" them.

The reality is she was preaching dogma with no basis in reality.

That was pretty brutal. I can't imagine the leap of logic that brings someone to the conclusion that removing money from the poorest schools makes them better.

She's not. Trump thinks he's a successful billionaire. He also thinks he's the smartest person in the planet and can do anything he wants better than anyone else. This, he thinks that other "successful billionaires" are also smarter than anyone else on the planet and can do anything they want better than anyone else.

That is entirely his line of thinking when making appointments.

That 60 Minutes spot, yikes. Betsy is from the same stock as Dubya. Affluent and brainless, with a subservient attitude towards the religious right and big business. It's FYGM while holding a cross. Listening to her serve up word salad to not answer the question really reminds me of Bush, she just does it without his difficulties in English. The lack of even knowing the basics is the same.

She and Pruitt are the ones I hate most, they both stand to affect the country in ways more severe in the long term. We can resolve legal code and such. Screwed up kids and our physical environs can be harder to get back on the right path.
