A Beto flip flop on a flip flop.

"Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke (D) is no stranger to changing his stance on hot-button political issues. The Joe Biden-caused border crisis is no exception.

In an interview with MSNBC over the weekend, O'Rourke said it is time for Title 42 to no longer be enforced at the U.S.-Mexico border, arguing it should have never been put in place at all. Title 42 allowed Border Patrol agents to quickly expel illegal immigrants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Biden administration is ending its enforcement on May 23, a dangerous move praised by immigration advocates, but criticized by Republicans and the Border Patrol union.
Earlier this month, O'Rourke said Biden should not end the use of Title 42 because a plan needs to be in place for the border towns to deal with the excepted influx of illegal crossings. Now, he claims the Biden administration has plan to deal with the surge, though critics say the plan is just to process people out at an even faster rate than before."

If it is a Joe Biden caused "crisis", why was it predicted to happen due to Trump's policies, long before Biden was even voted into office? Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Biden hasn't made mistakes, but the "crisis" was not caused by him.

I bet you also blame Biden for the Texas Governor's stop and frisk. errr... I mean stop and inspect of trucks coming over the boarder in which they found NOTHING as they caused the loss of over $240 Million in food which will hit everyone in the wallet across the nation.

Not a flip-flip. Why??

Beto said Title 42 should not end until the administration has a plan to deal with the increased influx of asylum seekers. The administration announced they have a plan.

That ain't a flip-flop, stupid. Now whether the plan is good or not is another issue but Beto is being consistent

You really need to read more then just headlines

Same crowd cheering on airplanes they don't have to wear masks want to pretend there is a public health issue at the border requiring Title 42 be maintained.

Total inability to be honest about the issues facing the US wrt immigration and asylum other than they are just against both.

You are so fucking stupid you completely trashed your faux, manufactured bullshit outrage with the quote from the diatribe you linked.

(Hint: I know you didn’t read any of what you linked, but you really ought to read before posting…but I guess you like waving your self-inflicted ignorance around like a badge of…what?….self-own age? The clue is contained within the last paragraph of what you quoted.)

I know it’s difficult for you—-words and their meaning—-but surely you can comprehend what you quoted. Or maybe single syllable words are indeed too much of a challenge for you. Sad.

Want to know how to detect that what you are reading is biased information?
In that sentence they included 'a dangerous move' and that is editorializing. You might well agree with it, but it is not supported in the information given.
Good news attempts to remove all such bias and report the information, not their opinion.

I do wonder if these antics by DeSantis and Abbott will have a long term impact on their state economies. One of the reasons companies shy away from investment in a lot of third world countries is the risk that El Presidente may one day decide to nationalize your new factory or whatever. Now in Florida and Texas we are seeing echoes of that sort of sentiment.

Undermining the "business friendly" aura of your state to score political points is likely to have some actual consequences. Companies will think twice about expansions and investments. Banks might demand higher rates on debt issued in that state due to the risk the governor could implode a business because he feels like it. Concerning Mexico they can, and appear willing, to reorient their trade development resources to states that are not a politcal problem.

The social aspect is starting to have an impact as well. Much of our circle is high income knowledge workers many of whom are beginning to reassess their long term plans. A small but growing interest in cashing out has become apparent.
