Beta-Alanine, anyone using it?

As a scientist I have grown tired of hearing the word 'anecdote'. It's really misused and the current "YOU'RE WRONG, I AM RIGHT! NANANANANA!" verbiage.

As a scientist, anything considered an anecdote should be taken with a serious grain of salt. It's not a matter of "I'm right, you're wrong," but more a matter of "You don't have enough evidence to prove what you're saying, but I have statistically significant data that shows otherwise."

I'm moreso referring to those who do research in the sciences with a degree in that science.
