I'm assuming that all happened after you got your first real six-string? The one you bought at the five and dime?

lmao

Probably 19 to about 22 (28 now). Lived with parents, didn't really work. Barely studied either to be honest. Just months and months of no responsibility and parties. Not a care in the world. Now it's work and wife/kids. Nice life to be sure -but it has its stress.

Haha

That's like something you'd see in a Pampers commercial with the 5 year old saying "I used to have to wear those when I was a kid!"

16-19 were by far the best, even though my mom died in there too. I got close one other time, in my early 30s. I look forward to someday having days at least close to that good again, though the more time passes the less hope I have.

I've never had a completely fuckawesome year, but I've also never had a completely awful year, so I think the 2 balance out. Like someone else said, ask me again when I'm dead, maybe I'll have a better view point :)

I'd say right now. :)

Childhood: Lived under parents restrictive rule with abusive father in a fucked up neighborhood

Teenage years: Still lived with fucked up father and neighborhood. Hated high school, had part time job to have money for social life, made very little money, too much teenage hormone drama. Sure we drank a lot, partied hard and slept with anything with breasts...but you were still just a kid and got no respect. And had no money.

Young adulthood: Lived in 10 different places with 10 different sluts...er, girlfriends, worked lots of jobs, got fired a lot. Quit a few times. Never had any money...or I spent it all on recreation

NOW: Happily married, great job, some disposable income, bright future.

Yeah, fuck the past. Tomorrow is where it's at!

Senior year of high school - college, I'd say. Friends, girlfriend, and partying ftw.

Senior year and this summer have been pretty damn fun (graduated in June) and I'm off to college in less than 2 weeks - looking forward to it.

Edit: By the way, if high school is actually "the best years of your life" then I might as well kill myself now. In the words of Bongo the rabbit, "You mean it gets WORSE?!?!?"

I'm going to say the best time of my life so far is now. I'm going to school to learn to do what I love, I have a great group of a friends, an awesome girlfriend, a working car, some college paid off, and much more.

I think every year is better than the last for me. of course I'm only a sophomore in university, so there is time for that to turn around.

11-13 ish was a wonderful time. End of high school was pretty good and my internship during university was great (1.5 years of university life, but with money and no schoolwork!).

Last 2 years have been pretty shitty to be honest. I've been thinking half-seriously about quitting my job, buying a motorbike and just roaming the world for a year or two.
