Post college has been the best time by far.

Got married, having a baby, bought a house. I have plenty of money, and much more free ttime and less stress than college.

best years were when I was 21 to 25.

fast cars, fast women, hanging out with friends all night long, getting my license, losing my virginity , dating an awesome woman, the peak of hair-metal bands and just enjoying life.

Every year of my life has been the greatest. Wouldn't trade any of them. Always been an optomist...

Best friends, pets, family members have died. Love blossomed and faded. Etc, etc. We only get 1 chance at each year. I'll take em all.

I'd say about a year ago was the best time in a long time for me. My Dad found a really nice job which was a big relief for me. Things were going great at work for me. I just completed a really big project. My sister got admitted into college. I remember my whole family then flew up to my Dad's place for Christmas. It was nice having the whole family around the Christmas tree.

Fast forward to today, my Dad got layed off. My job is not going so great, its become extremely stressful for me and keeps getting worse as time goes on. I cringe getting up in the morning to goto work now. I'm actually interviewing for new jobs, I've gotten some leads but I'm not too hopeful. My whole family is spread out, so I can't really see them all that much anymore. Things just aren't working out like they used to. I dunno.. maybe if/after I get a new job, I'm going to seriously think about getting married. It just so f'ing loney during hard times....

i worry about people that think life in high school was the best years of their life. Maybe not so much worry, but pity?
in 2006 we sold the vet practice, the house, and hit the road. these are the best times.

That's difficult to say. High school was great; sports, no responsibility, class was a joke, etc. College was fan-freaking-tastic, lots of interesting people, meeting new people daily, interesting classes, partying (went to a big party school), etc. I'm not sure of my "best years" I've enjoyed the whole thing pretty much so far.

I would have to say the summer of 1969. A couple of friends and I started a band. Course after all was said and done, it didn't last too long. One quit the next year and another got married.

I'm assuming that all happened after you got your first real six-string? The one you bought at the five and dime?

I bet his fingers bled too, from playing all that 6 string.

So far for me, when I was around 15-17 a couple years ago - lived in a very nice neighborhood, had some friends and we all went outside and did something for a couple summers in a row, whether it was playing some sport or biking, venturing into the wilderness, wrestling/fighting, etc. I've moved from that neighborhood and probably won't experience that same happiness, ever.

Looking forward to whenever I get married, spend time with the wifey doing things which might surpass that experience.

So, what are the best years of your life, and are you looking forward to any?

Early 20s. Had a series of great jobs, a hot girlfriend who couldn't get enough sex, a hot car. Wrecked the car, dumped the girl & got fired. God damnit :|
