Damn I love this 6 FREE MONTHS special @ AddAction.com

SIGNUP FORM - STEP 4

This page provides you with an overview of your current order. If you have a coupon, use it here (6 months free THE PLAN is code DELETED).

If your are a new customer provide your e-mail to setup your account. Please be advised that you can not use free e-mail addresses like you@hotmail.com. If you are a current customer, enter your e-mail and password and this order will be added to your billing account.

Order Progress

Your Order Summary
bob.com Domain:
I will update my nameservers only.
Main Package 1 - THE PLAN:
6-Months @ $41.70 + Setup: $9.95

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Package(s) Total $41.70
Package(s) Setup $9.95

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sub Total $51.65
Coupon (DELETED) -$41.70
Domain(s) are not applicable for discount.
Total Due $9.95*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

* $41.70 will be due on the next renewal date: 2003/07/23
(Domain renewals billed seperately.)

So if I understand correctly you pay $9.95 (setup fee) NOW, for the next 6 months your webhosting is FREE and after that it's only $6.95/mo?

Someone stop me!

Think I'll give an account to a friend as a gift and another to my sister and her b/f. I could give them accounts with my resellers account but I'd rather keep their accounts separate from my reseller account.

Lolz. it seems like you are more in love with this company than anybody else Ross! LoLz..

I'm definitely in love with it, so far but it could turn into another CyberWings although I highly doubt it.

I'll sign up using outriding's affiliate link so they get credit since they first mentioned AddAction.net, then I'll use the 6 months free special, then I'll sign up for the affiliate program, refer 10 people and receive FREE webhosting for life!

When I'm "in love" with something, there's no stopping me (e.g. Canon A40, Brother HL-1440, Honda Accord, etc.)

I'll be signing up with them soon also and test them out. I'll post a full review on WHT in about 60-90 days.

firstReflex is the latest site to be hosted by addaction.net.

Keep your eye on it, my bother is becoming quite the flash guru.

I highly recommend RFHost, i've had an account with Ronan (A fellow AT'er) for almost a year now and no matter what kind of support question i throw at him, he alway seems to respond - rather quickly i might add - with informative answers and resolutions coupled with a smiley.

He may not run a big operation nor does he charge the lowest fees, he sure knows the meaning of customer service. When was the last time you sent a support ticket only to find out he fixed problems that you personally screwed up (e.g. script install gone haywire). Last time i did that with a big hosting company i had to pay them an hourly fee even though i'm sure it only took them 5 minutes to fix it.

Though i had my own hosting service in the past, i am in no way related to RFHost except for the fact that i'm one happy customer. :)

I currently use PHPwebhosting for Linuxonthego.com, but thanks to this thread and ones linked from it, I may be looking for alternative choices soon.

No problems as of yet with my site, and I have local copies of all the content, anyway. But just in case the inevitable occurs, I will be moving the site.

Site doesn't come up, I assume you're either waiting for a domain or propogation or to put up content?

And they will never have a 2 for 1 sale (or any other sale) ever again :Q :(

Their prices went up, but they're going to dramatically change the way they host, too. They're going to get loads more servers and split the current server usage up. They're moving only a few sites onto each server compared to having lots of them crammed onto one. So your hosting services will get better.

that doesn't sound like too good of a deal. Addaction.net has 6 months free. 5gb/month is ok. not that great.

Right now, i'm 60% going with addaction.net and 40% going with HostRocket.com

;-)

Ok. I'm sort of confused with HostRocket.com

For them, they have all these services you have to pay for. (IE: CGI-Scripts, SSL, etc...) At the same time, they have it under their list of what is offered for $9.95/month plan, or the economy plan.

Well, in comparison, does AddAction.net offer more bang for the buck? Cause it seems that AddAction.net has everything included in their pricing.

Please let me know what you guys think. Your opinions are of great value to me.

WayneTek - The best advice I can offer is the same advice I have been giving out for ALL webhosting related posts ... go to WebHostingTalk.com and SEARCH for posts on HostRocket and AddAction.
