Guys,
I bought this chip locally at memoryexpress.com (if that means anything). The batch number starts with Q and the package date was June/16 made in Malay. The Q is very important as it indicates a good overclocker. Not much else can be said but to look for the Q.
The mobo I use is an Asus P4C800E...

I have an L batch, anything known about those?

Check here...

That is a Week 20 of 2003 fab date...packing date does not mean as much as I have seen the packing dates with 1 month to 3 months from fab date....

I have noticed if you want to get over 3.2ghz the chips fabbed after week 21 seem to be doing it with much more regularity...

Has anyone tried OC'ing this CPU on an Abit IC7-G Max 3?

I'm curious. I may be getting this mobo and I'm tempted to do it.

Is L=3, regarding the FPO/BATCH #?

I have a 3317A392 2.4C and it's not too great. I would guess it's my RAM holding me back, but then again, it is BH-5....

The highest I could post was 3.6GHz, highest stable was 3.2GHz at 1.6v selected in BIOS, but ABIT undervolts, so whatever.

You're getting 3.2GHz from a 2.4c and you don't think that's good???

I have also heard that the retail ones are better overclockers than the OEMs.

Um, what do you normally do with CPU's?

Um, I think he means the overclockability properties with it.
