I've eaten at Maestros a few times. Excellent steak house.

Negative, I am taking him to Mastros. I made a reservation for Friday night. Korean BBQ is just an extra since Ns1 brought it up. Lucky for me, even though my friend is a tight ass and usually doesn't like to try new things, he does like Korean BBQ lol.

From where I am it is. Where I live is actually very centrally located in relation to Vegas, Phoenix, and LA so if I wanted to actually go somewhere else, it's not that far. Plus it's only 2-2.5 hours to the mountains and snow. I saw this of course like I've actually gone up to the mountains when it's hot as fuck here, but I haven't but at least I can! lol

holy shit I cannot type that fast enough. I used to go with my frat bros to the OG location and stopped going after we had dead flies on our meat.

The reason you had an absolute blast is probably due to the 10 soju's and 14 hites you guys destroyed.

I think Mastro's steak is a little too salty for my taste. I liked Craft, Morton's, Fleming's better.

Damn, i've been wanting to eat some Galbi Chim ever since someone brought it to a Christmas Party

What you have there is galbi jim. A braised version of the short rib marinated in soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, etc. One of my personal favorites to toss in the crockpot all day.

FYI there should be a lot right next to it. It will be at a bit higher elevation than the restaurant itself but you are able to park there for free and generally should be some spots there. I believe you have to turn onto the side street next to the place to get to the lot.

the one time i was there, i parked across the street about one block in from the major street . theres a church back there with a lot of street parking around it.
