hmm that looks good.

No, and that's exactly what I'm saying. For $150 you and another person could buy all the wagyu you want, all the alcohol you want, shrimp, sides, etc.

You go to Maestro's with $150 and you'll end up with what? 2 steaks and some water, maybe a coffee and dessert to split? lol
LOL, Waggy I will be sure to take some pics and share them with you, so you can feel like you were there in spirit!![]()
The Korean BBQ I was used to in Phoenix, brought out little side dishes and what not that were included in the price of the meal. It wasn't nearly as expensive as Parks, but hey I'd KILL to get some Korean food where I am now.
I saw your post BEFORE you post the picture asshole, so I was looking at their website!
Absolutely the offer is serious! I don't fuck around when it comes to good food and friends!Besides, I'm really only used to Bulgogi and Cucumber Kimchi, so if you could expand my Korean Food Horizons, I'd be much obliged!
Oh I am 29, forgot to answer that question earlier lol.
PM your info!
Does not even compare to Mastro's. And I was able to walk away from Mastro's with 2 steaks, glass of wine, lobster mashed potatoes, asparagus side for about $180 with a free chocolate cake. Could not even finish the steaks and had to take some of it home and it still tasted amazing the next day.
lol no, Park's has blown up so they have a lot of english on the menu. You know the english prices are right next to the korean ones haha. Prices are $20-30 for meats, I think $40-60 for wagyu (although I could be wrong).
Sides are ~$10, side entrees $20-30
I usually spend 30pp eating casually, 50pp eating hard/drinking hard. Corkage is $25/bottle if wine is your thing. Otherwise alcohol is surprisingly cheap...
Thanks for the offer. If you're serious we can do an ATOT meetup and I'll bring some wine or pre-dinner "food enhancement" activities. I love Park's, what can I say =P
Korean BBQ must be very different in LA. Because in that menu, Gal Bi is $36 per serving. But no one eats one serving unless you're a small girl. I usually eat minimum 2 servings. Most of the time 3 servings. So that's $100 per person just for the meat. Everywhere I've eaten, nice Korean BBQ is more expensive than nice American steakhouse. Same for sushi.
Park's BBQ short rib. This is 1 order. I've eaten here 10+ times and my rule for ordering meats here is (# of persons - 1); there has NEVER been a shortage of food using this strategy.

So it's the same. Yeah, you guys don't eat lot of meat. Some of the friends I go with will eat 4-5 servings of Gal Bi themselves when hungry. It's $24 per serving in Atlanta at most restaurants.
As for Park's, I'm not impressed looking at the pictures on that blog. The meats look good but the rest don't. It looks like that place uses gas grill. I try not to eat at Korean BBQ that use gas. Better places will use hardwood. And ban chan in the pictures look like something you get at cheap Tofu houses rather than nice BBQ place.

Hey, if I can get a free meal i can show you many many many more K-BBQ menus ;p
anyway, did somebody say ATOT - LA meet?! been a long while...
ya, i've been to a $10.99 AYCE KBBQ in Cerritos once (for dinner too!), and i thought those thing don't exist.
Lol! You never know until you show up!
If you guys wanna set something up for this weekend, lets do it!
if you're poor or a cheapskate like me, there's lots of decent $20-30 AYCE korean bbq options too.
in downtown/k-town there's bud namu, castle, and a few other $9.99 options i forget. no pricier meat like galbi though.
