Had fried cheese curds for the first time while visiting Minnesota a few years ago at the state fair. They were freakin awesome. Wish i could find a place that had them here in NY.

That list is completely wrong - fried cheese curds are a Minnesota thing, not a Wisconsin thing!

Curds are usually eaten fresh in Wisconsin. In Minnesota they ship them in from Wisconsin, then fry them.

Nothing worse than being at a holiday party and biting into what looks like a delicious confection only to have your mouth filled with bourbon. They are vile.

Then I guess you wouldn't like these.

Damn, now I want to try prickly pear cactus candy.

Pimento cheese is the "caviar of the south?" Goddamit South, stop reveling in being shitty.

I have not eaten a tater tot since I moved to Minnesota in 2003.

I love that they used a rainbow thing for Utah's Jello mold. I hate Jello though.

Only like a couple of those, would try a couple others. Most I wouldn't touch and have never heard of the one from my state,

i just want to be the first to point out that boiled peanuts are fucking disgusting
I kind of like them. I've only had them canned, but thought it was an interesting take on peanuts. That said, they don't belong on any kind of "best of" list.

I'm really into these Kirkland Pecan and Cashew nut crisp. They're freakin awesome. From the list though, I don't mind a walking taco now and then

I abstain from eating food containing milk intended to feed calves. FTW Raw Revolution Organic Live Food Bars, Spirulina Dream. (Gotta splurge once in a while).

But we eat the calves too including their mothers..so why not their milk as well?

It's really not. I'm not sure who came up with that list, but they just utterly failed.

Minnesota tater tots. Does anyone else here eat tater tots or eat tater tot hotdish?

I love tater tots. I'm in PA though.

Tasty Cakes for PA??? Really??? Those things are usually nasty - taste like chemicals. Utz or Middleswarth products would have been my first guess.

Connecticut Pizza from Peppes? really? That is pretty sad.

Oh, I live in CT. That's the best the state has to offer? I feel like a looser.

It's just frickin' pizza. It's good but it's not the best I ever had.
