Best snack food in all 50 US States

Salt water taffy is a very popular summer treat in NJ. I agree.

Never had them, but the fried cheese curds look good. I've been meaning to try frying cheese myself. The crispy bits that come off of grilled cheese are the best part. I'd like a whole pan of that.

Had fried cheese curds for the first time while visiting Minnesota a few years ago at the state fair. They were freakin awesome. Wish i could find a place that had them here in NY.

Arizona: no. Even saladitos are better than cactus candy.

Reviewing the list, there is so much fail there it should embarrass the author.

Also: cheese curds are cheese, not a "cheese byproduct" as the author states.

Connecticut: I love Pepe's white clam pizza and that picture almost tempted me to drive to New Haven to get one. It's not really a snack though.

A lot of the snack foods on the list are food items that typically Tourists buy, and stuff not the average local eats often at all.

berger cookies are the fucking SHIT they rock. just a big ass glob of fudge on a cookie. however, i only knew about them because they were sold at the grocery store i worked in for 8 years growing up. i had never seen them before that, but apparently they are a very local thing. so good though.

Wisconsins LOVE their cheese curds. We'd make our safety guy bring back pounds of them when he'd go home. The squeakier they are the better!

I've lived in this state for about half of my live and I've never even heard of mine. We need to make our own state down here and get away from the rest of MS 😛

We do eat Zapp's potato chips, but there are so many other things that I would put on there before that.

Same here. Zapp is decent but spicy boiled mudbugs/crawfishes with corns and potatoes are better IMO. Too bad they are seasonal.
