Since I don't know how to "add to the previous poll", here is part 2. Shaving lubes...

Although I haven't touched a mach 3 in a while, I did use gel foam when I used to use it. With the electric I go dry.

Shaving cream, feel nice and clean. Shave everyday and you'll always look keen.

Whoa! I read that poll as "Shaving pubes"...

I just use soap and shave in the shower.

The art of shaving shaving cream. It seems expensive up front, but this thing will last a really really long time. I like it better than teh Col. Conk soaps, although those are nice too.

I've used whatever bar soap is in the shower for decades.

I have no problem shaving with a bit of tap water as well, but prefer using soap.

I've tried some of the fancy-schmancy shaving gels..woooo, they're slickery...but don't buy them. I've tried Barbasol, Foamy, and many of the generic foam-type shave creams...IMO, they're no better than the lather from a bar of Dial.

I use Taylor's myself too. It's a bit hit and miss but it is cheaper than the other high end British creams. I usually order a few years worth of supplies at a time since I have to import it from Britain. I have four tubs at the moment. I have tried Trumper's and it was really nice but too expensive for me to keep ordering it. I do not like the Mercur razor, they look great but they just don't shave me very well.

TOBS is my favorite cream, the only scent I didn't care for was avacado, the others I have tried are all great (sandalwood, rose, shaving soap, eton college, st james). Tried truefitt & hill and it doesn't seem to lubricate as well.
