I think it's obvious, there are SPOILERS below if you haven't watched all of the seasons yet.

Haven't seen any of season six yet.
I watched all the seasons in order, but after watching the rest, season 1 seems pretty weak. It just got annoying...kim gets kidnapped, gets out, gets kidnapped again, and so on. Then there's sherry (i have no clue how people actually liked her) who keeps battling palmer about what's best for the family in nearly every episode. I'm surprised how I made it through the season. It did have a few highlights though.
Season 4 started off weak. I understand they were trying to keep viewers clueless as to what was going on, but it never felt like there was any immediate danger. Also, the guy who played marwon did a horrible job, imo. He just didn't convince me... I really can't explain it much better.
Season 3 wasn't bad, but the writers of 24 exploited their same old plot lines with just different twists and characters--moles in ctu (which turned to be false alarm) and the kidnapping of an agent's wife (in this case, michelle). This season offered nothing new in my opinion, and it was kind of a let down.
I liked season 5 simply because of the "conspiracy theory" aspect. Even before the truth about logan was revealed, I got the sense that it wasn't over after cummings was killed. Aside from a few plotholes, this season was nearly the best.
And season 2 was the best just because it actually conveyed the dire threat. There's so many things that make this season good.
