id's artists used a lot of browns and greys even then though you linked to a third-party package which isn't exactly fair. The first Doom was more colorful and we can give them a pass on the *first* use of brown and grey motifs. I'm chastizing their subsequent rainbow color discrimination. 😉

Forget reality, I'll just dream about the setup that Carmack demanded.......Matrox Parahelia across 3 monitors...

That was it, wasn't it? I just realized how very tired I am and that I can't remember a f*cking thing. 🙂

Wow. Those two top screens are fantastic. The only thing that somewhat spoils it is the noticeable seam where the neck and the torso connects on the zombies. Of course, you probably won't notice it outside of a still screenshot.

Those screenshots look pretty cool I guess. I dunno, but games just don't seem to be making much progress to me. I want to see completely realistic, lifelike sh!t. This TNT2 has served well enough so far, and it plays any game I have, so it'll do for now. I doubt Q3 would be playable on it, but whatever... I'll probably either never get it, or by the time I do, I'll have a good enough setup to play it. 😛
