What's the best restaurant you've ever eaten at and where's it located? By best I mean great food, service, and atmosphere.

hmm, I remember its located on the intersection of Spruce and Chicago in the City of Riverside in California. I forget the name, it was a French name, the food was great, and every single waitress there was hot! I mean, I remember every single waitress there was perfect in terms of their face and body.

In terms of good food/atmosphere/cheap prices, this place called Lao Si Chuan near where I live. Most expensive, the Washington Duke in Durhma NC and Daniel's Broiler in Bellevue.

There probably isn't a best, but the first to pop into my head is the Kashmir (Indian food) located on Newbury Street in Boston.

I was 25 the first time I had Indian food, I didn't know what I was missing.

Santa Maria Inn
Santa Maria, California

That restaurant made me a big fan of good soups. I've never seen anything like it since though.

Some of the real best are the ones you would never expect. I prefer any ethinc restaurant that actually has first generation employees - just found a great Italian restaurant near me, this s*it is authentic as it gets. To me, atmosphere and real food are better than cost or class.

So what's your favorite, z0mb13?

I forgot to put mine. The Park Grill in Gatlinburg, TN. Copperhead Con Queso, Moonshine Chicken, and Jack Daniel's Creme Brulee, mmmmmmmm. There's also a place there called the Best Italian Cafe and Pizzeria that's really just a little hole in the wall, but they have garlic rolls that'll melt in your mouth and HUGE servings of great pasta dishes.

I would say the best restaurant that I have ever been too is either Bob Chinns or Giacomos.

Bob Chinn's is on Milwaukee Road in Wheeling Illinois.

That's probably why I make it a point to go there at least two or three times per year, even though it costs upwards of $100 for dinner for two (assuming you get a pitcher of mai tais, and don't eat the cheapest thing on the menu)

They fly fresh seafood in daily.

They have the biggest king crab legs I have ever seen (Were talkin like, 2 or 3 legs for a 20oz dish. The Kona Crab is to die for. Their Snow Crab legs are bigger then most places King crab legs. The Dungeoness crab is delicious. They have awesome gumbo as well as chowder. Their desserts are among the best I've ever had. The service is spectacular (though on busy days, you will wait over an hour to be seated, they do not take reservations, and they are one of the biggest restaurants in the country.) The atmosphere is relaxed, slightly dimmly lit, but not dark. I truly like everything about the place.

Giacomos is a little tiny Italian restaurant in Mount Prospect, IL. The quality of service there is the best I've ever seen. It's one of the few places that I would consider to have better service then Bob Chinns. The dining room only has about 15 tables or so, (though they are getting an addition as the place is ALWAYS packed.) And let me tell you about the food, ohhh is it good. Usually, Italian food is not my favorite, I really love Indian cuisine, Thai Food, Japaneese Food, Chineese Food, Anything with Crab, KC Style BBQ, and many other different food from various cultures. The food is so delicious, it completely stands out and above the rest. It is in no way shape or form boring or uninteresting. Each bite causes me to question my atheist beliefs, as the food is much too good to have been prepared by lowly mortals.

I took my grandparents and my mother their for my grandparents anniversery earlier this year, and they usually only eat half of their food or less at restaurants. At this place, they eat their entire portions. The portions there are pretty large (I am a big guy, about 280 pounds and 6 feet 2 inches, and a dinner there fills me up pretty good.)
For Lunch, which includes a decent sized portion, as well as Soup OR Salad, 4 people can eat for under $70 (including tax, as well as a generous tip.
For Dinner, which includes bigger portions, as well as Soup, salad, and desert, a party of 4 can feast on the deliciois morsels of food for < $90. It's not a "cheap" restaurant per say, however, the food, service, and atmosphere are top notch, and the prices are very reasonable.

depends on what type of cuisine. its really hard to identify one restaurant I like most. But for steak, its got to be nick and stef steak house in downtown los angeles.

for italian, this one italian restaurant in pico in west LA.. I totally forgot what the name is..

for japanese, this one restaurant back in my home country where you dont order, whatever the chef makes for you.

for vietnamese fusion, than long or crustacean in SF, CA

etc etc
