I am getting the 3500 E3 revision AMD64 when it come out next month (I hope) and the DFI board and high end memory etc for my watercooled project. I was wondering what people believe the best PSU would be for around 200 bucks (my budget). I was thinking PC Power and Cooling but some others have caught my eye. Thanks! A possible move to phase change along with watercooling is in the future possibly as well.

Other than expensive :)

But we already have that covered with a $200 budget :D
This is a nice refreshment from "I've got $19.99 to get a 500watt powersupply"

$200 is a hell of a lot of money to spend on a PSU... unless you have eleventy billion hard drives, it's not needed.

Anything from the S12 series gets my vote, though.

Teh shit!

You just wont be satisfied until everyone has a Seasonic, will you ;)

You convinced me. Mine will be here tomorrow. (430, not the 600 bliss)

Hell yeah. Too much Antec, Enermax, and OCZ out there.

The more Seasonics, the less "OMFGWTFMYPSUDIED" threads I have to deal with.

Too bad Seasonic doesn't make a PSU that will fit your roomie's cube PC. :D

12V#1 14A
12V#2 16A
12V#3 16A
12V#4 14A

The OP would only be able to utilize 2 of them.

And thats a GES PSU. NOT Compatible....

edit: oh adapters

Quite the power cord it has too ;)

EDIT: If we need to buy a powersupply for the cruise, I nominate this one.

It was a joke, I think the power cord looks rediculous... some might call it "gay" ;)

PC Power & Cooling. Customer service is top notch and their products' efficiency and power is enviable. You will not be sorry. That's 510W of pure power! + 5 year warranty to boot :).

Go with Seasonic. You get a reliable, quiet, and highly efficient PSU. It helps your overclock and the environment, what's not to like about it?

By the time the 3500 E3 revision AMD64 comes out, the Antec Truepower 2.0 (ATX 2.0 compatible) will probably be available.

The Truepower 2.0 550 has two 12V rails totalling 38Amps, and all Truepower 2.0 utilizes a single internal 12cm fan to minimize noise.

Yeah? The Seasonic S12-600 has two rails totalling 36amps and uses a 120mm fan. And its available right now. And it will still be quieter.

Tell me how the two rail (or four rail) 12v works if you can. I am unfamiliar with that. Always had lowly single rails (LOL). What would be the advantages of two 18amp 12v rails versus 1 36 amp 12v rail for my system.

Yes I know 200 bucks is a lot for a psu, but I want it to last and this is my hobby, and I happen to have a little extra money, and I want to make sure I can go to phase change down the roard if I so choose etc., etc.
