Best Place to Visit Outside of US

Spooner

Lifer
tryin to plan a vaca with the woman and realized that i've never really been outside of the US (except maybe Montreal) and am trying to figure out a fun place to visit come mid-March timeframe.

Info:
- Both early twenties
- Travel in March of this year
- Fairly active
- Love warm places
- Love nightlife

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Wouldn't be the best weather at that time of year.

But, airfare from, say, NYC or ATL to Brussels should be pretty cheap then.

Whats your budget? If you want a cheaper vacation goto Cancun. More expensive, maybe somewhere on the Mediterranean.

Don't go anywhere yet, the exchange rate is all fvcked up. Wait until the socialist euro economy fails. Or if you REALLY want to visit somewhere, go to Canada. Or Mexico. Or stay within the US.

definetly somewhere around spain or italy
was thnking of these places since i really need to get to europe sooner than later

Europe is vast and multifaceted, one trip won't do the different countries justice, nor will spending a week there going to clubs.
If you just want to be warm and party I would suggest the classic carribbean vacation, it will be the cheapest too.

well... it would be with only me and GF so we wouldn't be partying and going crazy every night.

What country in europe has the most "touristy" things to do?

anything bordering the mediterranean would have decent weather

spain, south france, italy, ex-yu, greece

there's touristy stuff to do everywhere in europe

Greece was nice. The vast majority of people there speak some amount of English due to the tourist industry. The islands are very nice. Athens has a ton of stuff to see.

You will take a hit withe the current Dollar - Euro exchange rates going anywhere in Europe.
