best place to get blank 60/90 minutes cassettes??

Walmart

If you want high quality cassette tapes check your local CostCo/Sam's Club, they have 12 TDK 90 minute packs for either $5 or $8 I can't remember.

Wow, cassette tapes. You know I don't think I've used a tape deck in at least 5 years. If you know what you are doing, you can squeak pretty decent quality from a cassette, but the lack of direct track access is a real bummer.

Ahahahahahah! My thoughts exactly. Why bother w/tapes anymore? When I met my GF, she had a tape deck in her car. She was buying prerecorded CD's and making copies onto tape on her little $150 stereo. I said (and I quote) "WTF are you doing?" :Q

Seriously, I'm sure you have a reason for remaining, how shall I say....dated? Good luck. 😉

ok. ok 🙂
I know cassettes are outdated. But I got to make copies of few cassettes for my friend. I do not know how to make cd copies from a cassette. Is there a way?

Actually, Type IV high bias cassette tape on high end audio systems will sound better than a CD. However, in a normal system the CD will sound better. Analogue is technically better but because of its susceptability to "noise" expensive equipment is needed to get the full potential of analogue, while digital will sound better on lower quality (ie less expensive) componants.

Do you need 4-track or 8-track?
