Best 'commercial' pizza i think is papa johns.. (extra large.. peperonni (ON TOP)) and its good.

There are, however, a lot of small places that make much better pizza..

believe it or not I like pizza hut's regular pepperoni pizza the best.

Allthough when I was at hawaii last week we ate at a pizza joint called "Pizza Bobs". If you are ever on the north shore of oahu eat there, they kick ass! Damn good club sandwhiches especially.

I like Pizza Hut and Dominos myself.

There is a good local place called Mad Mushroom that is real good. Too bad they closed the location that delivered to my house and if I want it I have to pickup.

I don't have one single answer unless you define your question more by asking what is your favorite chain, national, or local pizza.
When I think pizza, right away I think of a small pizza shop owned by some guy named Tony or Sal who spins his own dough. But, of the national brands, I like Pizza the Hut's Pan Supreme, its even good the next day. Papa John's is a good pie, but not a very good morning after pizza, it must be eaten hot the first time around. And locally, it's a tie, V&S has the best Sicilian and the original Bella has the best thin crust.

Anyone ever been to Zachary's in Berkeley/Oakland?

Wins best pizza in the Bay Area year after year.

Sweet, I can finally type 'the Bay Area'.

What is the officiating authority for pizza places?

As long as it is NY style pizza I am happy.

We have a place called "Master Pizza" here in the Cleveland area. They use big chunks of spicy sausage, so gooooood.

Tastes like I remember pizza tasting when I was a kid, and *nothing* ever tastes as good as you remember it!

Oh, and sometimes I like Domino's fiberboard stuff too. Rarely though! :p
