Best performer you've seen?

Who is the best performer you have seen live?

I was fortunate enough to see Buddy Guy at a Jimi Hendrix tribute concert, he was the best I've ever seen. Really knew how to work the crowd. Primus put on the best concert I've ever seen with the crazy lights and such.

I've been to a bunch of concerts and The Toadies put on the best show. While others might sound better on the radio, when it came to singing and playing live, they did an awesome job.

i haven't seen many, but i'll go with weird al yankovich , however, i can't say that his band was very enthusiastic, but he was. the bass player looked really bored the whole show

I saw the Dropkick Murphys on On Demand cable, looked like a really great show to get drunk at, especially on St. Patricks day or something.

Hoenstly... Probably the Yanni concert I went to. It helps if you like his music but the shows be puts on are incredible.

I saw both Joe Satriani and Steve Vai in concert this Month. Front row at both gigs. What an incredible experience.

yea they were in boston for that and it was amazing

Not sure if its the best I've seen, but Queensryche doing Operation Mindcrime in its entirety a few months ago was awesome.
The "first act" with other hits was just ok, but the "second act" of Mindcrime.. great.

Flaming Lips on the Clouds Taste Metallic tour.
Pixies just recently.
Tool
Carnival Season, a local Birmingham band circa 1986
R.E.M. at the Fox theater, last show on the Document tour
Leo Kottke

Sting is pretty good live.

Frank Zappa was probably one of the best though IMO. I had the opportunity to see him in concert twice. Awesome!

Metallica back in 1993 was amazing.
The Pixies last year just blew me away.
They Might Be Giants put on the most fun concert I've ever attended.
