So, what is it? I have no idea and a good buddy of mine needs some advice on what to get!

Preferably the cheaper the better... as close to $200 as possible. Thanks dudes 😉

The Nitrus isn't really competition for HD-based players. It's sort of an in-between Flash and HD player at 1.5 GB. You're probably thinking of the Karma, it comes in 20 and 40GB. If you guys haven't played with a Karma, you're missing out. See if your local bestbuy has it and check it out. I played around with it at J&R. It's smaller than the ipod (but thicker). I personally like the form factor better, more like an MD. Plus it has an ethernet dock and supports ogg vorbis. 😀 I also like the interface better than other HD players, it's nearly identical to the RioRiot's.

You can get the 20GB Karma for $275.

Oh yeah, and what's the one that has the capability to plug an FM transmitter in? I think I'm going to buy that one =) Is that the Dell?

What's wrong with iPod anyway?
No wma support.

It has AAC support tho. I personally have a 40 GB iPod, and will stick by my purchase. Best mp3 player in the world.

EDIT: Also, as said, you can find the 10 GB iPod for under 200.

So what? It still doesn't support wma, which is why I won't buy one.
