actually the first 2 statements are false. the highest time spent per player is Diablo2
CS only has about 50,000 online players at any given time wheras Diablo2 has over 200,000 at any given time

that game had me so hooked. i played easily 4 hours a day with school and all. weekends were at least 35 hours. that game pulled me in like heroine!!!!

finally pulled away from it after 4 years of playing it. been playing for about 7 years although the last 3 years have been sparsely active as to prevent addiction.
 
Quake1. Nothing will ever touch its brilliance. it started it all and its still the best, damnit!
 
If you can't do a CO-OP mode then the game is worthless 😉

I like the Tom Clancy games myself, the teamwork and die from one bullet thing is cool 🙂

Ghost Recon is definantly fun 🙂

I can't believe I didn't see one person mention Duke Nukem 3D! The remote ridicule 0wnz!

Unreal Tournament is my other choice.

the wallhack is not based in any of the HL or CS dlls. it is based on the client side opengl.dll which is not affected by patches
the only way wallhack can be stopped is by installing this:
FOR WINDOWS
FOR LINUX

with THIS plugin

this plugin has broken up a LOT of clans in CS, the server admins installed the script and found out that most of the clan is cheating! it goes on the log files for tournaments and those leagues ban those clans for cheating. visit the forum HERE
