I've worked christmas day from 530A-600P for the past 4 years(soon to be 5) because we get paid time and a half, and I'll pop in Shawshank at about 2ish and watch it til it's time to get ready for work 😀

I need to find out what book the short story is in so I can get a copy 😱

Yea I read the book first...both are excellent...usally one is better than the other, but I didnt dsee it that way.

Movies that were great to me the first time watching are:

LOTR
Colors
Braveheart
Conan The Barbarian
We Were Soldiers

There are many many more but those are just off the top of the head
 
all great ones, mine werent in particular order, but since it is 2am where i am i couldnt remember many of them.

i luv Shawshank Redemption but can't see it anymore because its one of those once you see it, its over for me, like the usual suspects.
