Got a problem with Scary Movie?

Nope, I loved it even though my Scary Movie DVD for some reason won't play on a JVC DVD Player perhaps it has issues with that brand? Maybe I'll try it on the Toshiba SD1200.

Anyhow overall I think American Pie is overall funnier than Scary Movie was. With Road Trip following that.

BEST COMEDY - American Pie
BEST DRAMA - BRAVEHEART
BEST ADVENTURE FILM - Anything By steve Speilberg
I liked Varsity Blues too 🙂

~X~

Chinatown, The Lost Ark, Wizard of Oz, Bladerunner

all these movies have done a lot for me and can be seen again and again, forever. I would put on Groundhog Day too but its a bit too sophomoric

There are a lot of movies I like, but probably some of the best aren't the movies I would see over and over. In my limited movie experience and world view, I would say Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, and Shawshank Redemption are 1 2 3 in that order. On the other hand, my current favorites are Princess Mononoke, Shawshank Redemption, and Chicken Run in that order.

Some off the top of my head:

The Matrix
T2
It's A Wonderful Life (stop laughing)
To Sir with Love (I said stop laughing!)
American History X
Fight Club
2001
Braveheart

In the ten defenitive catogories of movies Here are my favorites followed by honorable mentions. Cause I'm wayyy too picky to just say one. So heres my list..

Action: Fight Club (Die Hard)
Comedy: Something About Mary (Duck Soup)
Drama: American History X (LA Confedintial)
Fantasy: Edward Scissorhands (Princess Bride)
Historical: BraveHeart (Saving Private Ryan)
Horror: Silence of the Lambs (The Shining)
Love Story: Chasing Amy (Shakespeare In Love)
Musical: O Brother Where Art Thou (Singing In the Rain)
Mystery: Usual Suspects (Seven)
Sci-Fi: 2001: A Space Odessy (Empire Strikes Back)

...until someone reminds me of a movie that should go on here that I forgot about

CTHD would be good under fantasy, but that is just my opinion. I really enjoyed that movie.

oh, and The Matrix was awsome for Sci-Fi, though I am not sure I would oust the two classics you chose for your two spots.

Lots of good movies already listed here....some of my favs.....Full Metal Jacket...("This is my rifle, this is my gun, this is for fighting, this is for fun..&quot😉

Platoon, The Matrix, The Thing, The Usual Suspects, Goodfellas......
