I'm tired of the old man's credo, "If it's new then it's crap." You should open your eyes. The matrix may not be for you, but it is definately a ground-breaking movie. I agree with MistaTastyCakes, there were some great movies in the day, but also some real crap..... just like today.

LOL! right.... ok, every movie is going to have something in it that resembles another movie. Show me another movie that used the same camera techniques or had the same story. (yes, there are some with some elements of the story as with any movie, but nothing that really is the same).

I was agreeing with you up until this point. Movies are made for entertainment. This is especially true of action movies. If you consider the matrix art then you need to re-examine your life.
