I would suggest that you go with the EL Gold or HyperX PC3500.
You will get much better timings with these and since you are using a 2.8C
you should be able to run 2X512 sticks at a 1:1 ratio.

Corsairs XMS LL is way overpriced and does not perform any better than
the HyperX from Kingston. I have 3 systems running using the C chips on
P4C800, IS7-E and P4P800. The HyperX is getting the best results.
 
Found some kington ram 3500 at frys, for 119$ $4 shipping.
