Can anyone tell me where to get the best deal on 3200? or 3500?
I saw some deals on the Corsair and the Kingston 2 weeks ago.
IS Crucial memory better?

Thanks.

Confused, so many ram chips, the Giel got great reviews, as did the corsiar.

Has anyone else used Geil? The reveiw seemed really good.
The Giel review says around the 240mhz, The corsiar is about 200mhz(from the purchase link)
Can anyone verify the results?

WHat about Cruicial?

Get Corsair TWINX if you have a dual channel system, or Corsair XMS if you have a single channel system. I have some Kingston HyperX PC3000 in my other system, and the Corsair is much nicer. Corsair and Kingston are both better than Crucial.

I'm not sure I understand that, If I bought 2 of those xms and threw them into the correct slots, for dual mode, it should work right? Is twinX optimized or something? Can't find twinX for cheap. 2700LL for 130$
How much faster is twinX?
I think your losing out on price/performance at this point.

http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80097-8 Is the A version better, it's 20$ cheaper
Than the non A.

http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=80092-17 Thats the twin x at 120$
The ll series is like 170$ to rich for my blood.

I might go for the twinx at 120$ There was one for 125$ not sure what difference was.
A lot of people seem to like the LL model better?
Found the corsiar forum, will post there for response.

Hi look out there,
Have you bought the dragon, HOw is it in overclock situaions.

ALso which is faster the twinx 3500cpt400mhz or the 2700LL ddr333
Obviously the mhz is faster, but in orverall performance, doese the Low Lantancy really speed things up?

Two XMS sticks aren't gauranteed to run at the stock timings or even run at ALL. The TWINX memory is a set of two sticks of memory tested exclusivelly together on an Asus A7N8X in dual channel mode.

really...i think my neighbors Abit IC7-G is having some problems with his 2 seperate XMS3200 LL ram, they refuse to run in 2CL together in dual channel mode. He asked to put my OCZ3700 Dual Gold in there and they work perfectly, even overclocks higher than my P4P800-D.

its because of crappy flamers and ppl who don't know what they are talking about that prevents me from further recommending OCZ...if ur just flamming OCZ because of what other people say about it in forums, you gota read some archived news about the real thing...maybe Xibit?

Yo, that's good news about ocz, you got any reviews about that. How much are 3700's these day's didn't they just come out. Corsair has 3700 that came out recently, But at 322$ for 1gig, Man I'm having trouble justifying buying it.

So if I bought 2 xms 512 meg modules, can I run them in dual channel mode? (the xms seems cheaper than the twinx)

I personally didn't have any problems running OCZ's PC37000 kit at 2-3-2-7 @ DDR468 Dual Channel Turbo mode.
I think OC-addiction.com has a nice review of it. (remember, their benchmarks are unbuffered) Sisandra is 5300mbps Buffered or maybe more after OC.

get it at newegg.com for $215 (pretty expensive huh? but once u see your memory all your issues of money will dissapear ;))

Jeez, thats the 256meg 2 pack. I need 1 gig minimum..... Can I get the 165$ one and buy 2.

ON the abit Is7, with a P2.8c and this ram, do you think you could hit 3.4 or 3.6ghz?

THanks for the link to the reiveiw. GOod review.

Newegg doesn't have it in stock yet.
3700 ram, is expensive.

Do you think you could get the p42.8c to at least 3.2 or 3.3 with 3200 or even 2700 ram?
I really don't want to spend more than 100$ on ram. per chip.
