for everybody that said McDonald's, i beg you: see the movie Super Size Me if you haven't already. did you know that the McGriddle has 22 grams of fat? fast food sucks imo. i don't eat it and i'm fine. true it's cheap, but your health ain't worth it. Supersizeme.com it worth seeing the movies just to understand the scope of the problem.

There IS no problem.

Morgan Spurlock, a avowed anti-capitalist and vegetarian, set out to slam McDonald's. The way he did it is a complete farce.

First and foremost, he ate past the point of being full and literally force fed himself. The supposed health problems he suffered are caused by force feeding. Farmers do this to geese to enlarge their livers to make foie gras (goose liver pate).

Spurlock FORCED himself to eat 6000+ calories a day. Get that? He had to FORCE it down. Gorging yourself creates EXACTLY the type of symptoms he claimed to have. Simply eating McDonalds food does not.

His symptoms could have been caused by ANY type of food. The geese used to make foie gras are force fed grains. You could do this with your mother's cooking if you literally ate until PAST the point of feeling ill three times or more a day.

Hell, Spurlock would have had the same symptoms if he force fed himself 6000 calories a day at your local health/whole foods store.

McDonalds food is no different than the burgers, eggs and what not you make at home. The implication that it is somehow worse for you is absurd.

As far as super size me.. nobody should take the movie seriously. People can eat healthy at most fast food places if they want, simply eating fast food doesnt mean that its unhealthy.. its what you eat, not where you eat.
 
As crappy as McDonald's can be at times, their breakfast is pretty good for fast food fare. In fact because of the "crappiness" of it, I think it makes it all that much better!

this thread has nothing to do with nutritional value, just taste. aside from the fast food scene, i freakin love IHOP breakfast. stuffed french toast mmmmm

1.59 for a drink and a biscuit of the month, i usually get it at least once a week. if their fries are fresh, theyre great (even for breakfast!) and i love their chicken biscuit 🙂

hardees has a good gravy biscuit, and chicken biscuit.

french toast at BK has been a favorite of mine since childhood, but i rarely get it

the biscuits at mcds are surprisingly notbad. but i avoid mcds and cant recall the last time i had a biscuit there.

bojangles is still my fave, though

Big Macs have 30g............. Don Gorske seems to be doing fine...
 
i love mcd's breakfast.. sausage egg mcmuffin with cheese is the bomb ******$.. and their super ultimate big breakfast is good too..
 
anyone like jack in the box? it's not bad and they defitenly know whats up with serving breakfast all day. mcd's could surely learn a lesson from that
 
I'm not a fan of anything at McD's, but can tolerate their breakfast if there's no other option at the time...I prefer Jack-in-the-Crack's breakfasts myself...Ultimate breakfast sandwich, or Ultimate sausage sandwich...or the newer ciabatta breakfast sandwich...(hold the sauce please). Their OJ is much better than McD's, which usually tastes watered down to me. Carl's Jr. has good breakfasts as well...WTF, when you're hungry, it all builds one...
 
Doesn't anyone make breakfast anymore? What's with all the fast food listings?

Anyway, here is my list:

Slightly runny scrambled eggs with diced ham, preferably country ham.
Pancakes with Mrs Buttersworth and butter (not margarine, not Shedd Spread, and hell no to Parkay, just real butter).
Link sausage.
Biscuits and gravy with so much black pepper it interferes with your breathing.

Edit: All served by a beautiful naked woman, or women, naked.
 
Macdonalds for sure. Their breakfast is awesome, great coffee, excellent Egg McMuffins, their pancakes are good, its all good.

Oh and I eat fast food quite often and have no problems......same with millions of others.......
