yay for fleeting happiness over material possessions!

edit: also must be nice to have everything in your life handed to you by your parents, I'm sure you're just going to college because it's the thing to do as well.

Might as well right, they're footing the bill

If this really is the best day of your life, you're in for a boring sexless life.

i think the satisfaction of getting all you listed with your own money, is much better than knowing you're using up all the hard earned cash of your parents that they could've saved for retirement or something else.

it is NOT free. your parents worked for it. think about that.

And you still have all that money. So what's your point?

Oh I should make this clear:

My parents believed I deserved a new car because of my grades in college were so good (and I wont argue with that). It just so happens I dropped my old POS cell phone in a pool at a party during July 4, ok I jumped in the pool and forgot about the cell phone. And I dont plan on this laptop lasting me more than 2 years anyways, it will barly be able to run some games in 2 years at med quality

Screw all the bitter/jealous people. Your parents did well for themselves and earned all their money. There's nothing wrong with spending it on their children.

It's sad that you have such a terrible outlook on life. It's not wrong to get objects from your parents, and this is the only time in his life when gifts like those will be well-received by both sides.

In summation, remove the stick from your arse.
